It was interesting getting them on but once I did, I they felt good! A little weird but I think that will go away as my toes get used to the placement. I am hoping that it helps with my workouts!

Mens Strand ATR Black
Never really done reviews like this before so I'm just going to give straight facts and experience with these. They are an excellent tool once you get use to them and learn how to walk a different way with them. If you go full bore into these and do trail walking on rough terrain like I did, you are going to have some aches and pains from using muscles and tendons more than they are usually used. Have over 30 miles between these and Vibram's with a backpack on rough terrain. These are my go-to now cause at 250 lbs. you want the extra cushion, so you don't bruise your heels or something else. Long in short, after you form to them walking and adjust, I walk better and stronger. My legs are physically stronger from just using them. I had a pop in my knee from cartilage, and it seems to have gone away for the most part. Calves seem stronger and have more motor control over the tendons and muscles in the feet. They do get stronger because you start naturally using what's there for more stabilizing and proprioception. They are an awesome tool and do what they are supposed to do for me. Sometimes wearing normal all terrain sneaker seems foreign, and you can tell it handicaps movement. Sizing for men's 13 for me was slightly snug but then when they wear in a little it's right where you want it. If you wear them in public, yeah you might get some looks and stares but it's because it's just something that's not normal in their eyes and don't see much but to each their own. Who cares. Maybe the way we do things needs to be rethought, and this is one thing Peluva has done. Just my opinion.

I am loving these boots so far. They are so comfortable and soft. A great addition to my footwear choices for the fall and winter in California. I did spray them well with a suede protector so that they don't stain easily. I normally wear a size 9 in my other Peluva styles. I ordered this in a 9.5 due to wearing a heavier sock in them and they are just right.

At first, shoes with toes felt new and my toes seemed to belong to another person's foot as I tried to put them on. Then, it happened. Day 3, I put them on and.all the toes went where they should, and ny heel snapped in. It's been smooth lile butter ever since. Buy them. You'll be glad you did.

They fit comfortably with a thin to medium sock. I also bought the Peluva crew socks and they are perfect for these shoes. I did follow suggestions and purchase my Peluva shoes 1/2 size up from my normal shoe size. I wear a women's size 8 normally and purchased these in 8.5.

My first Pelican . I own a lot of Xeros, Lems and and I was looking to replace a battered old school vibram 5 fingers. I am an 8 and usually order a 8.5 for more space. However I recommend that if you have longer slender toes, go a half size more up. Should I buy again, that is indeed what I will do. Not a fan of the laces so I will be looking at the slip on versions.

My favorite Peluva shoes, and now in Black!
These are my favorite Peluva shoes, I had two pair but when the black ones became available I ordered another. I like having a bit more "grip" on the bottom, and I LOVE the new lacing system. I've got almost every different design of Peluva shoes (for men) so I can evaluate the different models under various conditions.

I love these shoes. I've worn this type of shoe several years ago and was happy to finally find these. My only concern was sizing. I was unable to use the scan method so I measured and using the chart ordered a full size larger. These are a little large, but wearable. My next pair will be a half size larger. Apparently my toes are short. 😁 I loved the Black Friday 25% off. Waiting for the next sale to buy a different pair.

I ordered the black with shoe laces. I ordered a women's size 10, I normally wear size 9. They were big enough with my toe socks on. I will try a 9.5 next time, when I order a slip on pair. The shoes are comfortable and my toes are happy in them. For the size, I think they run true to size for a 9, but I wanted bigger for the toe socks. My toes did not reach the top of the shoe box in the size 10 and I have plenty of toe/foot room.
