Very Comfortable, Excellent grip, even if the court is wet.
This is my third pair of shoes, and I like these the best. The soul is a little more thicker, the treads a little, more thicker. The shoe feels way more solid than the other ones.
So far so good! I have not played tennis with them yet. Walking has been great.
I was skeptical at first and actually returned them because I couldn’t get them on. After watching the tutorial and switching to toe socks, everything changed. Now they’re easy to put on, my feet don’t feel cramped, and they’re the most functional court shoes I’ve worn. Glad I gave them a second chance.
Review Title: Finally Found a Truly Functional Court Shoe Review Description: I was skeptical at first and actually returned them because I couldn’t get them on. After watching the tutorial and switching to toe socks, everything changed. Now they’re easy to put on, my feet don’t feel cramped, and they’re the most functional court shoes I’ve worn. So far so good, after the 3rd attempt to get the correct size. I found that their size does not actually run small. I normally wear a 13, and it took a Peluva 12 to get the proper fit. Initial reaction is that they are quite comfortable despite no cushioning (like most Pickleball shoes). They are very light weight. They feel really good. I can say that I can move and cut on the court better than any Pickleball shoe I've had. What remains to be seen is how long they will last.
So comfortable and clean
The Peluvas feel great and are very responsive. I feel properly cushioned and well supported. I get a lot of questions about m shoes and maybe a little ribbing here and there. I’m used to breaking the mold and going outside of the box and this was a great purchase. I love the Peluvas for Pickleball. Now I just need I get some for other uses. Huge difference from the old vibrims 5 finger shoes.
I've worn (and loved) minimalist 5-finger shoes for almost 20 years and these are revolutionary. I play pickleball competitively and never thought I'd see the day when a company released a barefoot 5-finger court shoe, and yet, here it is! I've worn them almost 10 times at the time of writing this, once for a tournament (playing 4+ hours straight) and the are wildly comfortable, very effective and giving more feel to the court, enables me to pivot and launch faster than normal shoes, and they're supportive in ways you wouldn't think a barefoot sneaker could be. Absolutely obsessed with these - they are my only pickleball sneaker moving forward.
I love my new PELUVA court shoes! My toes are now free to do their thing. When I put my 'normal' shoes back on it feels like toe prison. Thank you!
Be me, lost both big toenails from too tight toe boxes on my previous tennis shoes. Fast forward and my feet are again intact but even wide box shoes feel so disconnected from the ground as I play… I’ve had two long sessions w these new shoes and I was quite surprised at how much better I felt on court with extra toe gripping powers… support feels also surprisingly good. I recommend em. But I ordered a size up from my usual per the websites advice and I wish I hadn’t. They’re a bit loose, so I double up my socks. Maybe just order true to size and see.
Love the look. They cut into my left foot due to some stitching and what seemed to be a slightly thicker edge adjusted the 2 toes with the issue and now its good fits and reminds me of a baseball glove. wish it came is different color options as I use these as casual wear and the mesh to work out and walk in. would def get if there were more color options
Wish I could them in black
Was only able to get 12 days of play with this shoe before they fell apart. They were great shoes, but have zero durability. Soles detatched from the leather.
Thank you for making pickleball toe shoes! I have tried so many different pickleball shoes and have yet to find a wide enough toe box so my toes can spread. When I first put on these Peluvas, I could immediately feel that my foot was positioned properly and it felt so good!! I have not worn toe shoes before so I'm slowing breaking in my Peluvas. The design fits the shape of my foot very well. I usually wear women's size 9 but always size up to 9.5 to get a roomier toe box. My toes do not reach the end of the toe box in the shoes but they are very close, especially my left pinkie. I'm a 4.5 player so there's a lot of movement on the court. After playing for 2 hours, I can feel pressure in between my toes...this may get better as I adjust to the shoes. Or maybe I should have sized up? When I'd really stretch for a ball, I could feel my toes hitting the toe box. The ends of my toes were pretty sore after playing so that makes me wonder if these are better for drilling and not playing. Or maybe I should try to find some socks that are cushioned in the tips of the toe? We shall see if my feet adjust. I'm also curious to see how long the sole lasts. Overall, I'm so impressed that Peluva has made a court toe shoe with some cushioning. I feel so nimble on an outdoor concrete court and my feet feel pretty good overall. Thank you Peluva!
I wasn't initially able to get them on, with my pinky toe being the problem, so I wore toe spacers in my Xero shoes for a few days, and that gave me the pinky toe space I needed to get them on. They felt really great, but you also need to get used to them fitting more like a glove than the usual one thumbnail of room in the shoe. I haven't played pickleball in them yet, but I did spend a day walking around with my grandkids, and didn't have any issues. I did order another pair
I’ve worn them to play pickleball twice now. I got quite questions and looks. They are super comfortable (as expected) and I feel more grounded to the court. I love them and hope they last a long time.
This are the best court shoes I’ve worn in years!!!!! Thank you.
I’d recommend these court shoes to anybody who wants to increase their agility and strengthen their game through stability, athletic movements and less fatigue. I’ve wore these for the past two weeks and hands-down will never wear another pair of court shoes. Reviewed by Future senior pro on the Pickleball tour.
The fit is absolutely great. The issue that I run into is the life of the sole. Only time will tell how long it lasts. Now let me be clear, I play pickleball about 2.5 hrs roughly 5 days a week.
Excellent! I originally purchased a black and yellow one for Tennis, but I guess it wasn’t designed for court play, and it wore off very quickly. Out of fantastic customer service experience as they refunded me my money, and I went ahead and purchased this one instead. So far, I’m loving it. I can’t imagine going back to regular tennis shoes. There’s a sensation that I can’t describe. It seems like you have a connection to the ground and you can feel everything. It’s significantly improved my timing at footwork while playing tennis. I just wish the price wasn’t so high, and I can tell that it is eventually going to wear off sooner than the average tennis shoes, but I love the way they feel.
Ove this shoe, highly recommend the unlimited exchange option. Finding the right fit may not be as easy as the sizing chart. Every shoe is different! RTM
I went from a max cushion shoe to these shoes and they are like walking barefoot. I would not have thought I'd fall in love with just wearing them but here I am
I’ve been wearing the Peluva Men’s Court shoes for about a week now and wanted to share some early impressions. So far, I’m really impressed. The biggest thing I noticed immediately was how natural they feel on the court. The wide toe box lets your toes spread the way they’re supposed to, which gives noticeably better stability when moving laterally compared to most traditional court shoes. They were also comfortable right out of the box with essentially no break-in period for me. I mainly use them for pickleball, and the traction and court feel have been great. They feel light and responsive, and I like feeling more connected to the court instead of being lifted up on a thick sole. One small thing I’d love to see in the future is a black color option for the court shoe. The white looks sharp, but it definitely shows dirt pretty quickly with regular court use. A darker option would be great for players who are on the court a lot. That said, I’ve only had them for about a week, so I can’t fairly speak to long-term durability yet. I’ve gone through quite a few court shoes over the years, so the real test will be how they hold up with wear and tear over time. I’ll plan to follow up once I’ve logged more hours in them. But as a first impression comfort, fit, and performance have been excellent so far. If the durability holds up, these could easily become my go-to court shoes.
