Love the Shoes - But can Improve
I love the Peluvas; they're now my go-to shoes for daily activities and working out. After getting used to them, they just feel better than regular shoes. There are some things that Peluva could do better though:
-I can't figure out my real correct size. The sizing tool on the website said I was an 11. Those were much too small, so I got an 11.5. They fit great except for my big toes, which hurt after wearing them around the house for a day, so I exchanged those for a 12. The 12s are a little too big though. I have to pull the laces very tight resulting in the top of the shoe folding over a bit, but none of my toes hurt, so I've kept them. My foot slides forward and back a bit, resulting in my little toes occasionally slipping out of their toe area, and when my heel is all the way back, there's too much space in the front. To help with the slipping, I made two extra shoelace holes to keep my feet more snug .
-The shoelaces are too long, and there aren't enough shoelace holes to keep your foot secure. This could be easily remedied.
-It would also be nice if Peluva put some water-resistant treatment on the fabric. As is, if it's even a little wet underfoot, your socks are going to get wet. This means you'll always need another pair of regular shoes if it's at all damp or even just misting outside. That said, I've worn these walking over ice and snow and have been fine, even if my feet get a little wet.
Again, overall, these are great shoes. I'm going to get another pair, and hopefully the 11.5s will work in a different kind and Peluva will fix a few of these issues.

Really comfortable!
These are very comfortable shoes that very gently keep the toes a bit splayed and I have had a lot less cramping in my feet.
I have enjoyed wearing these for strength group training at the gym (nice and low to the ground) as well as for walking and daily wear.

Super Comfortable! And actually stylish!
I love my Vibram Toe shoes and they are great for outdoors. But when I want to dress up for Church or dinner, I don't want to look like I'm about to go hiking afterward. These Peluva shoes are the perfect middle ground of niche toe shoes and stylish sneakers. My feet are too wide now to go back to normal shoes that are always narrow.

This is the 3rd pair of Peluva shoes I have purchased. I am loving them all, but these are the best. They are so comfortable, and they are easier for me to put on without the laces. I recently found out I have Morton's neuroma and out of my large collection of other brands of zero drop shoes, my Peluva shoes are the only ones I can walk in consistently without aggravating the neuroma. The sole is a bit thicker and softer than my other zero drop brands and the toe pockets work to spread my toes. Win, win!

My Strand ATR are great.
I really like them. I had no trouble adjusting to them and very little trouble getting them on, though I sometimes need to use a shoehorn to keep from rolling in the heel back. My right big toe has started turning in towards the other toes so I have little more challenge getting it on. My hope is that my Peluvas will help keep it from moving as much and keep it from rubbing against my other toe. 😊

Best walking shoes
I love these shoes! I initially ordered a half size up, but they were too big. I contacted the company, and they quickly sent me the form to get them replaced. I ordered a size 8, and they fit perfectly. Normally, I have to wear my Good Feet orthopedic inserts, but since I work out barefoot, I really wanted to try these. They felt a little strange at first, but after the second time using them on the treadmill (because it’s winter), I could really feel how my feet were working the way they’re supposed to when walking.

The fit of the shoe is comfortable for width and toe spacing. Challenging to get on, but this is a lace up style, so I can loosen / open the shoe to fit my hand in on top of the foot to help guide the toes into place.

I have only worn them twice. First of all when it says to size up, listen! I ordered a 7 and returned them after just trying to get them on my feet. I always wear a 7 in every shoe. I sent them back and got the 7.5 and they fit perfect. My left foot is loving the new adventure. My right foot not so much. I am having pain in my second toe. This is not the shoes fault, it is my foot and the way my toes are crammed together after years of point shoes and bad shoes in general! I made it through both of my workouts and treadmill walks with them and my foot warms into the position after a few minutes of arguing. I already feel muscles in my legs I haven't used while working out or walking! I am very much looking forward to my feet after wearing them for 6 month, a year or forever! I will never workout in another shoe, barefoot is the way of life!!!

Hate the look, love the shoe!
I'll be honest, I still can't get on board with wearing this shoe in public. Yes, I'm shallow! But I decided to buy them because I could tell I was developing plantar fasciitis in my left foot and I was ready to finally address the root of the cause instead of buying another pair or inserts. I've only logged 40 miles in these shoes on my walking pad but I loved the feel of them immediately. It took me a while to get my 5 fingered socks on (bought third party) as well as the shoes. That pinky toe just refuses to slide in easily but I'm getting faster at it with each wear. I don't know if it's all in my head but my PF seems to be resolving but it's too early to tell. I'm happy I gave them a try and am hopeful that this is the start of my journey to strong and resilient feet!
