The first pair I ordered were too small so I had to go 1/2 size up. Basically, I like them but I still struggle to get them on. In addition to getting the toes into the right pockets, there are flaps of fabric around the lace area. If one of these flaps gets folded the wrong way, the shoe is not comfortable until that is corrected. I'm impressed with the conscientious followup by Peluva customer support.

Women's Strand Lightweight TrainerI was a bit skeptical about these, but needed more cushion than my other barefoot/wide toebox shoes provided so I was willing to try them. They have been really comfortable to work out and walk around in, and provide the cushion I need for running. My one issue is that the heel is fairly wide for me and it's hard to get a tight enough around the ankle because the eyelets for the laces don't go enough around the sides. However, having separate toes seems to help hold my foot in place well enough for the most part. Peluva was very helpful with exchanging for a bigger size. I went a full size up from my original order because it was much too tight on my big toes, even though all my other toes had a lot of extra room in front.
Women's Strand Lightweight TrainerThe shoes fits well. I thought it was a little unusual that when I lace up the shoes the eyelets on the outside of the foot fold in, creating a fold from between the third and fourth toe to the lace opening. I still find them very comfortable.
At 56 1/2 I have noticed changes in my mobility especially with increased sitting at my home office. Glad I gave PELUVA's a try. Love the lightweight feel of this trainer my feet and alignment are improving daily.

I walk dogs 5 miles every day up and down hills in the forest they make me sure footed every step I take which is important since I'm 78 years old. Takes a few extra minutes to put my socks and shoes on, but worth every second of it, I have to agree they feel like a comfortable glove on my feet.

The initial fit was odd to me, but almost the moment I started walking in these shoes, it was like my whole body was sighing with relief. I discovered my natural gait and threw out my Kurus (sorry; not sorry!) I'm now replacing ALL my shoes with Peulvas or going barefoot. Huzzah to newfound mobility, no pain and better muscles! Women's Strand Lightweight TrainerI've worn Vibram 5-toe shoes in the past and stopped wearing them because they weren't really all that comfortable. I bought these on the suggestion of my trainer, and they are very comfortable, to say the least. Short break-in period while my toes got used to finding their new home, but now they just slide right in. I can only hope that Puluva develops more styles for women so I can buy another pair of a different style.
Women's Strand Lightweight TrainerLove my Peluva shoes. Can’t tell you how many peeps have taken a picture of my shoes. Women are curious and men….well…. not so much. Play tennis and pickleball and pain free for 1.5-2 hours on hard surfaces. Think I need to branch out and get a light blue court shoe if they make one. All in all a game changer for me whether I am playing a sport, walking or shopping. Right now I am not wearing any other shoe when I walk out of the house. WHEW! What a foot relief:) Oh, make sure to up your shoe size as I just went 1/2 size and I find I skip over wearing them. A whole size up works best for my feet. Thanks PELUVA! Shirley.
Women's Strand Lightweight TrainerThis is my third pair and they’re simply awesome. I’ve gone up half a size, which I actually think is from wearing these shoes and my feet finding their natural splay/length. I do seem to wear a hole between the large and first toe fairly early on, but it hasn’t detracted from the shoes and will be interested if sizing up changes this. Thanks so much for making these shoes! I suffer with neuromas in both feet/different tows and plantar fasciitis which are largely kept at bay by wearing these - which is simply lifechanging! Thanks!

Very happy with my size exchange. The shoes are incredibly comfortable. Not sure about the toe socks yet. But the shoes are great.
Women's Strand Lightweight TrainerI've been wearing my Peluva's for a little over a week now and while initially it took me up to 5 minutes to get my toes in the right spots, it didn't take long to be able to get my toes in place much more easily. The shoes are very comfortable and I have not had any soreness or discomfort in the process of getting used to them.
