Takes some getting used to
The first pair I ordered were too small so I had to go 1/2 size up. Basically, I like them but I still struggle to get them on. In addition to getting the toes into the right pockets, there are flaps of fabric around the lace area. If one of these flaps gets folded the wrong way, the shoe is not comfortable until that is corrected.
I'm impressed with the conscientious followup by Peluva customer support.
This is my third pair. So far is the most comfortable, perhaps due to the fact it doesn't have shoe laces. They are very comfortable, I wish they had more colors.
So glad you're loving your pair, and that's sweet you're passing the other pair on to a friend!

Shoes
The shoes are great. The problem is my feet. My toes are squished up from boots and socks for fifty years and I cant hardly get my little toes in where they need to be. I’ll keep trying but my little toes are short also
Thanks for the honest feedback. We appreciate you sharing your experience as they break in.

Love the brand and shoes overall. This is my 3rd pair but this style is a bit difficult to get my shoe in. I thought it would get looser but still a fight after a week. The issue is the inner strap that goes over the top of the foot where the quilt pattern begins near the opening is too rigid and needs more slack. It's not painful but it's not exactly comfortable. I'm always feeling the tightness while I walk. The Miami slip on was much better design but I don't see that one anymore. I love the stretchy fabric most from my lite trainer instead. I don't have big feet and other styles are more comfortable so I see it as a design flaw of this style only, not the brand. Perhaps that's why they are less, quiet clearance?
Purchased the Peluva court shoe a few weeks ago. It's super light. Super comfortable. Fits really well (when you get the correct size - and I disagree that they run small). The bonus is, some lower back pain I was dealing with has dissipated with these shoes.
However I'm only giving 4 stars. Due to less than 2 weeks of use on the court the sole is definitely way more worn than any other court shoe I've ever owned a pair of. I doubt they will last even 2 months of use. Meaning they have no stamina for actual use. Hopefully Peluva will consider doing a version of the court shoe with a much more durable rubber.

Thanks for the detailed feedback, we'll pass the durability note along to our team.

Decent sock
The sock runs small. And it is thick. If you will wear these in Peluva shoes, you may need to go up a half size.
Love hearing this, glad they're comfy for nighttime too!

Like running in them.
I like the way you can feel your toes grasp the ground as you're running. Very natural feeling. I'm glad if I decided to try them. I've got weird feet and Morton's/Greek toe, but they seem to compensate as they are molding to fit. The big toe area on mine seems to bunch with a little extra cloth maybe because of my longer second toe, but doesn't affect comfort. I'm a size 12.5 and so usually get 13s but I went with 13 on peluva and seems to be the right choice.
Makes a nice change from regular toe squishing shoes. My feet are different sizes so I ordered up a size, they work well. Takes some practice getting your toes in the right slots but it’s not difficult once you’ve done it a few times. Would like a little more padding in the sole but they’re pretty comfy as is. Would recommend.
This is my first pair of toed shoes. I've had other barefoot shoes before, but not like these. It took me 2 trys to get the sizing correct, but now I think they're amazing. I've been putting on miles in them, the thought of strengthening my feet and legs with every step is just what I was looking for. So much so, I bought 2 more pairs. Can't wait till they get here. The worst part is getting used to all the dandelion heads getting stuck between my toes
Shoes fit great! Look great and feeling better after about a month of wearing them. They did hurt my toes as they were adapting to the shoes. Cool looking and make me feel great. Arrived earlier than expected. The only reason im giving a 4 instead of 5 of 5 is because when i was expecting the shoes, it looked like i had got a pair of used peluvas. There were faint marks of dirt on the bottom of the shoes. On the inside of the shoe where the heels were had some black stratches and some wear and tear on them. I guess thats why they were on sale or "discounted" shoes. But i was expecting brand new shoes for around 80 to 90 bucks. I buy used shoes from thrift stores so it dont bother me too much. These are my trial shoes to see if i even like them or want any more, so we shall see if i buy another pair for running and cold weather.
So far so good, after the 3rd attempt to get the correct size. I found that their size does not actually run small. I normally wear a 13, and it took a Peluva 12 to get the proper fit.
Initial reaction is that they are quite comfortable despite no cushioning (like most Pickleball shoes). They are very light weight. They feel really good.
I can say that I can move and cut on the court better than any Pickleball shoe I've had. What remains to be seen is how long they will last.
