First pair of Peluva
My other first pair of Peluva shoes (yes I picked two for my first purchase). I bought these to replace my Vibram Spidreons that have already run out their useful life. I knew two things going into this purchase. First, that I was purchasing a quality shoe at a great price that supported my barefoot shoe style preferences. Second, I was prepared for what would feel much more like a "normie" sole compared to my preference for minimalist shoes. What I like is the overall quality of the shoe. It's a proper fit based on size recommendations. I also like the nice option to be able to hook my lace to the shoe using it's clever design. Much better than Velcro fasteners I'm used to using.
The sole is great. Zero drop. But much thicker than I'm used to wearing. They were easy to put on, feel good to walk in, but when I went to push the brake pedal on the car, I immediately missed not being able to feel the pedal with my feet. Not a bad thing, just different. For the quality and fit, something I'll be able to overlook and get used to over time. Can never give up my minimal sole options, but will keep my Peluva in the mix as one of my favorite casual shoes for everyday wear.

Quality shoe with a great look
Well, I've finally made the call to try my first pairs of Peluva shoes. I've worn Vibrams for years exclusively. The Aspen boots drew me in. They arrived quickly and exceeded expectations. Probably the most substantial sole I've worn in a long time, Not a bad thing, as the use case here calls for rugged durability. So taking some getting used to, but I can tell I'll have these for a long time without the usual concerns of the uppers coming unglued from the soles of my usual minimalist shoes. It's good to have options and this is definitely a stylish one.

I had to reorder a half size goin and these got very well. No slipping and they got like a glove. No pain in my bunion area at all. I normally wear a size 7 so I have half size larger. Great choice! I have a torn meniscus and wearing these takes pressure off my knee. They seem to be helping my walking.

Amazing Shoes!
I've had my Peluva Strands for about 6 months now. I walk about 12-15 miles daily on concrete, so I curious to see how well they would hold up. So far, so good! I'd say they still have about 70-75% life left! Getting ready to order my next pair very soon!

Half Size larger Made the Difference
Sorry this was not sooner, but since these were an exchange, thank you, and I had previously relegated I would be on vacation most of the month of February. I’m just finally home and able to give the half size larger from 8.5s to 9.0. And I’m happy to say, these are wonderful, I knew my left foot was larger and always try it on first when fitting shoes. But was not aware it actually is the 2nd toe or index toe that was what was making that foot bigger. Now that toe fits fine in the 9.0 size. I’m looking forward to getting them warn in and love them so far.
