Loves these, highly recommend.
I have worn vibrams for many years. The sole on these shoes is a bit thicker, with a little bit more cushion, which benefits my aging feet. Wore these all day at work (I am a hospital based RN) without an issue.
I have worn them with bodygroove dance and outside in light snow, without slipping.
Planning on getting the blue pair and more socks. Would love to see a leather shoe option for women.
I did what was recommended and bought a half size larger. I have skinny feet which makes the laces a little bit longer. But I feel that if I had bought my normal size, my toes might’ve been too close to the edge.
Great shoe for moving around outdoors. They’re super comfy with just enough sole that your feet don’t hurt. They aren’t for wet climates though as I found even light rain would cause my feet to become soaked easily. I would highly recommend.
The delivery time was quite short and all correspond to what I ordered, the only thing is the free socks, they were too small and i had to pay them even though they were supposed to be free. In overall all was great.

Tried my first pair of Peluva’s with the socks you sent. Socks fit perfectly - snug, not tight, no issue with toe separation/snagging,, and no slippage when in the shoe. Highly recommend, even with regular shoes. I plan on purchasing more.
Everything went well. If the actual refund itself is smooth, then the experience will have been very good. I can't complain about that, even though the shoe itself was too clunky for me. I would buy again, if you had an actual barefoot sole on the shoes.

A little to be desired
I know these are supposed to be minimalistic, but it seems I have to pull them very hard to get them around my toes, feels like they will rip sooner or later. Once they are on they are ok. Seems like they should be 5 pair for $10, not one pair.
The toes didn't line up perfectly with mine, but they seemed to stretch and settle in after wearing. Feels a bit weird at first but then becomes very comfortable.
This is my third pair of the Strand, and it's by far the best barefoot shoe there is. I also have the Naples, but the Strand is my favorite. Walking in them becomes addictive, and exercising in them is invigorating. It's like a switch is turned on, and it synergizes the mind-body connection.

Only took two tries to figure out how to work with the socks and shoes. The fit is amazing. Ironically, I did the foot scan for the Strand pair and they are too small. But these fit like a glove. I think I will like the full loop for getting them on vs. the little tab on the Strand model. I'm just deciding which second pair I want! It will be a while until I can try them outside (it's January in Wisconsin), but I'll be wearing the Carrie model inside the gym tomorrow.
I was debating between an 8.5 and 9. (I normally wear 7.5 or 8’s normally.) All of the reviews made me nervous because most people said “go bigger or it will be too tight!” So I went bigger. My feet actually fit in the 9’s comfortably, but part of me wonders if 8.5 might have been a better fit. I like that my feet aren’t crunched so I kept the 9’s. Kind of wish I had a place to try on 8.5’s just to see if that would be better, but I don’t want to deal with the hassle of boxing and returning. I like peluvas, but I need to wear them longer to truly gauge whether they are really that much better for my feet than regular workout shoes.

Slips on and off a little too easily
I like the socks because they are necessary (I think) for putting on the shoes. I like that the toe area is soft and thin - i think it would be obnoxious to have too much material at the toe. But, it would be fantastic to have reinforced material in the mid foot area so that the socks aren’t too slippery inside the shoe and the sock, which has minimal elasticity, doesn’t slip right off your foot.
I was incredibly excited for these shoes because of how sleek and modern they looked compared to all the Vibram Five Fingers shoes I have. I am no stranger to toe shoes and in fact love them. I have been looking for other brands that make toe shoes for a while now when I came across Peluva. But this specific Carrie ST model was let down. Since the top is laceless I was expecting them to be tight fitting and stretchy. But instead they are incredibly loose and stretchy. I can comfortably fit 4 of my fingers in the shoe along with my foot. So needless to say my foot moves around a lot when trying to walk in them. The shoes fit length wise so I cannot size down. I honestly don't know if these shoes would fit anyone who doesn't have swollen feet or very tall and wide feet. I should also note that my husband tried the men's Napa Dress Trainer (which is sadly not available in women's sizes) and didn't have this issue because those shoes have laces and can be manually adjusted.
I would give 5 stars for the sleek and modern color block aesthetics of these shoes but I have to give 1 star for the fact that they are too loose and my feet move up and down with every step. Overall 3 stars.
Peluva if you can modify this design in future releases to be tighter and still a stretchy slip on, I would love to give them another shot. Also I would absolutely love to see these shoes in a sage green or mint green colorway!
These trainers are comfortable and well fitting. There is enough space to slide my feet in quickly which is nice, and one you tie the laces, it snugs up to my feet really well. These have a very clean look compared to other toe shoes making them a great shoe to wear into the office!
My first pair of toe shoes, but not my first pair of minimalist shoes, I would wear them around the house and play around with the fit (which is a half size) slipping them just on and off either barefoot or with my Injinji toe socks. After wearing the Peluva slip-ons for more than at least two/2 days MY MAIN ISSUE/TRANSITION INTO TOE SHOES IS THE PINKY TOE AREA! Majority of the regular fit shoes I have worn are Nike retro sneakers and Asics and New Balance runners. PINCHING & CHAFFING in-between my pinky toe and 2nd to last outer toe area even with toe socks is gonna take some "getting used to." *EVERYONE'S FEET ARE DIFFERENT!*
