Bought these for my teen - this is what she had to say : A thicker sole than I was expecting , however, this is my first pair of barefoot shoes so that may be the norm. I love the toe spread-ability and the overall feel of the shoe. I will definitely recommend these. (She’s got me convinced)

I started out with barefoot shoes. I liked the feel, but found them rough on my feet with zero cushioning. Pelivas are a wonderful blend of barefoot feel with just the right amount of cushioning. Plus, I love the toe separation. A true barefoot feel. I recently added Peluva socks which are also wonderful. I walk two miles on most days. My feet are 85 years old.

Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerI had to return my first pair. I followed the scan info instructions, and added 1/2 size as directed. In reality? I needed a whole size bigger than the scan suggested. Having said this, my first impression is ‘I love them’. I’ve wanted a shoe that allows my toes to lay down and spread out. These feel great. I’ve walked in them a bit, but really look forward to stretching out on a walk with my trekking poles!
Women's Strand Lightweight TrainerWas skeptical but decided to try them. I am more than pleased. Wish I could wear them all day but due to work safety issues I am not able todo so. There is a transition period to get used to them but once you give them time, they feel like a glove on your feet. Already have 3 pairs…. Would recommend them without hesitation.

Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerThe shoes seem great so far and the delivery was fast. I gave 4 stars instead of five because the email they sent states that everyone gets a free pair of socks with their purchase and I didn't get any. I reached out to them about it and so didn't get a response.
Comfortable, cute and easy to wear. There is a learning period of course, but I got used to the new feel on day one. I have only worn them a few times so far so I have no idea how durable they will turn out, but so far they seem well made I expect them to last.
Women's Strand Lightweight TrainerI am a size men’s 13… I really wish you would come out with a 13-1/2 so the fit would be perfect. I ended up using size 14 and it serves the purpose but 13-1/2 would be perfect.

Everyday No Show Sock UnisexI love how these shoes keep my toes separated and allow each toe to live its own independent life while contributing to the team foot as a whole! Each toe is comfy and the shoe is comfortable all around! So much better than the earlier 5-finger toed shoes that had absolutely no cushion. These have enough cushion to feel supported but not too much to feel like you're walking on a mattress. Wonderful invention, love them!

Everyday No Show Sock UnisexI wanted to give them a try as a way to make my feet stronger. I walk at least one hour a day. They are very comfortable. I find my toes (especially the big toes) are much more engaged than with regular shoes. I used Topo shoes and would still recommend them but I have used my Peluvas for my walks since I received them. Very happy so far ( 2 weeks) and they seem durable.

Women's Strand Lightweight TrainerThis shoe is fine for walking, but we REALLY need a dedicated running version. I saw videos of the founder who seems to be against running anything over one mile which is very disheartening. (Even the Army PT Test was more than that!) I doubt it will change anything, but after running in the Strand, I would love to see a slightly more breathable version with better grip for road running.
