So far so good
I’ve used them for a day now, for whatever reason the shipping takes and extra week and a half to 2 weeks when going through the San Francisco postal service so my shoes took a while but the shoes feel amazing. I bought a few and I will update reviews as time goes by. I walk barefooted a lot and I am Hawaiian so I’m cursed with flat fee as well as needing 4E wide shoes, which is hard to find with premium brands, I think I’ve found my new brand of choice. The first pair, Miami, is good but found that a half size up from my normal shoe size as recommended by other reviewers was still insufficient space for the length of my toes plus toe socks. For my next pair, the Women's Strand ATR, I purchased a half-size more than the Miami. Now, this pair of peluva is perfect. Compaairing the Strand ATR and Miami, the Miami has more cushion than the Strand ATR but the Strand ATR is comfortable to take 10,000 steps daily.

I bought these to compliment my Strand Trainers, which I really love for outdoor walks and exercise, as an indoor slip on to be used for just kicking around and easy on and off. Pros: Similar fit to the Strand, however, slightly "larger" that I was hoping for. I even went down a size and they still seem a little loose but overall they still work. Comfortable, light and grippy sole. Cons: Not a fan of the collapsible heel strap. I know that its designed to serve 2 functions, however, I would have preferred a more minimal heel strap for easier on and off. Whenever I walk in them with the strap folded, after a few steps it goes right back to the vertical position. Possibly its because again they feel a little larger than I was expecting. Overall the pros outweigh the cons and for me its another quality product from peluva!

Peluvas look better than most toe shoes on the market and are incredibly comfortable for workouts. My only complaint is that the toe stitching isn’t perfectly symmetrical.

Decided to explore barefoot options on a bit of a whim. Toe separators helped more than I thought and decided to go ahead and get my first pair. These feel… I dunno… “Right”? I was already passively barefoot besides work or the rare occasion I went out but these help to complete the “feels right” puzzle. Issues with my back have steadily began to get better as well as issues with my legs I didn't even realize I had are fixing or realigning themselves better. Very comfy albeit an adjustment; which is to be expected of course. I look forward to continuing this lifestyle improvement. I actually am eager, now, to take walks ^_^

I love these shoes for the look! The reason I didn't give 5 stars is the sole being so thick! If you're new to toe shoes, these are the way to go. In my case, they look classy enough to wear at my wedding! It's true to size though did take a few days of wear to fully break in. So worth it!

I have only worn them once so I believe it will be 5 star worthy eventually. They are a bit scratchy in between the toes and on top of foot. That's the only negative but truly, it's minor. I really like them and hope my feet do too.

I love the Peluvas; they're now my go-to shoes for daily activities and working out. After getting used to them, they just feel better than regular shoes. There are some things that Peluva could do better though: -I can't figure out my real correct size. The sizing tool on the website said I was an 11. Those were much too small, so I got an 11.5. They fit great except for my big toes, which hurt after wearing them around the house for a day, so I exchanged those for a 12. The 12s are a little too big though. I have to pull the laces very tight resulting in the top of the shoe folding over a bit, but none of my toes hurt, so I've kept them. My foot slides forward and back a bit, resulting in my little toes occasionally slipping out of their toe area, and when my heel is all the way back, there's too much space in the front. To help with the slipping, I made two extra shoelace holes to keep my feet more snug . -The shoelaces are too long, and there aren't enough shoelace holes to keep your foot secure. This could be easily remedied. -It would also be nice if Peluva put some water-resistant treatment on the fabric. As is, if it's even a little wet underfoot, your socks are going to get wet. This means you'll always need another pair of regular shoes if it's at all damp or even just misting outside. That said, I've worn these walking over ice and snow and have been fine, even if my feet get a little wet. Again, overall, these are great shoes. I'm going to get another pair, and hopefully the 11.5s will work in a different kind and Peluva will fix a few of these issues.

The fit of the shoe is comfortable for width and toe spacing. Challenging to get on, but this is a lace up style, so I can loosen / open the shoe to fit my hand in on top of the foot to help guide the toes into place. Takes some practice and patience
Comfortable and well made
Ordered a .5 size up and they are comfortable to walk in. It didn't take too many tries for my brain and toes to work together on the fit. My left foot had no problem sliding into the toe sections. My right foot was stubborn. I mainly use this pair for short dog walks (1mi. or less) and errands. Will test to see if they will stretch overtime and feel comfortable for long distance walks. I will be getting a pair that's 1 size up for running. The additional. 5 is snug.

I have only worn these shoes a couple of times so far, and I am still getting used to the toe splay in the shoe, however, they really have made me feel lighter on my feet. I went for a ruck yesterday with my weighted vest and I could feel my whole leg working and my knees were not bearing all the weight. I can’t wait to go on my first medium trail hike with them and see how they hold up. If you are on the fence, hop off and grab a pair you will definitely be glad you did.
My experience with Peluva so far.
Im in the process of breaking the shoes in. I love how my body feels running and walking in them. Its like being more aware of what muscles are working. The seams in the toes did make my toes bleed. It made long seam cuts and I bled through the shoe which is white. Breaking in process I'm sure. The only problem I have is my 2nd toe is longer than my 1st on both feet. On my right foot the 2nd toe slot is slightly too short. I noticed at the gym that my right shoe is shorter than the left for some reason. I'm hoping they stretch a bit and adjust.

I wasn’t sure about the sizing and used the online sizing tool. First I went with the recommended size that was half a size up from my normal running shoe size and placed the order and paid for the unlimited returns. The set that came was too short for one of my long toes and the shoe was really wide for my feet. But with all the reviews, I wanted to give it another chance. So read through all the reviews and ended up exchanging it for the next size up. The shoe now is really long and strange enough still the same width. This is quite different from the vibram running and trail shoes I have that really allow me to feel the ground and toes to splay more comfortably. I actually spent about 20 hours standing and walking in these slip on and they were okay. I really wanted to love them and finally have a replacement for vibrams. But after reading the reviews, the width may be a problem for all the different styles for narrow feet. I still like the style and will wear them around the house. Maybe I’ll take a chance on the trainers if I can determine if they narrower than the slip ons.

If your second toe is your longest, order a full size larger than what the foot scanning app measures. The app apparently measures for a foot where the big toe is longest. The Strand is very comfortable and is overall a beautiful shoe. The issue is that the top center of the heel collar has a bump that caused a red mark on my ankle after wearing for just a few minutes inside. After reading the review about the shoe rubbing a bleeding blister from the exact same defect, it confirmed to me that the same outcome would be inevitable. I will unfortunately be returning the Strand. I am hopeful that in a year or so Peluva will resolve this issue with the heel collar so I can give this shoe another try. I was disappointed with this issue because the shoe was otherwise incredibly comfortable and perfect in every other way. I did keep my Zen Suede Slip-On, which is my favorite shoe I own. Due to the material, there is no heel collar issue and it is amazingly comfortable.

I ordered the Strand ATR in a men’s size because the teal shoe is beautiful but oddly unavailable in women’s sizes. The Strand ATR is very comfortable and is overall a beautiful shoe. The issue is with the quality control. The first one I ordered had defects with the stitching of several toes where there was black fabric between the toes instead of teal, and one toe had a large dimple in the top. When I returned it for a larger size, the replacement shoe had defects in both heel collars. Both heel collars were folded over and bent forward on the same side, causing it to uncomfortably dig into my ankles and leave a red mark after a few minutes of wear inside the house. After striking out twice with defects in the Strand ATR, I decided not to return it for a third try but to instead return it for a refund. However, I loved this shoe so much despite the quality control issues that I plan to try again next year when they are on sale again. Hopefully this fairly young brand will work out the quality control issues and my third pair of the Strand ATR won’t have any defects. I did keep my Zen Suede Slip-On, which is my favorite shoe I own. Due to the material and design, there is no heel collar issue and it is amazingly comfortable.
Soft, supple and Very Comfortable
Very comfortable, soft suede, thick enough to feel substantial but still flexible. I ordered the same size as my previous Peluva’s but these seem to be slightly bigger. Took me a minute to get comfortable with the size difference.
