My new favorite shoe for every day, everything wear!
I’m very glad I bought these. They’re extremely comfortable, so much so that I no longer want to wear my other workout shoes. Surprisingly they don’t look too bad either. The only thing holding me back from 5 stars is that the pocket for the right big toe is slightly different from the left. Which makes my right big toe rub uncomfortably sometimes.
I really like my Peluvas. They really do help strengthen your feet and ankles. Strong feet is essential as we age. I plan on being fully mobile into old age. Peluvas are a key part for balance and healthy feet. I’m a fan. Thx Sisson. Great product!
Still getting used to them. I like them so far.
I had a burst Baker's Cyst a year ago. My recovery has been hampered by a stiff right foot preventing a natural walking motion and creating pain in my right knee. In just a few days I have almost recovered my normal walking motion. I was limited to 23min/mile walking speed and in just a week I am walking 20min/mile with less discomfort.
I live overseas and have not yet received my new shoes from my shipping company. I will know in a month how I like your Shiraz I can tell you I have purchased 5 pair of Vibrams five fingers within the last ten years. I have never been quite happy with their lack of padding and narrow sole. If your shoes are as I am anticipating, I will stop buying vibram and you will have a new, life-long customer.
I love wearing them. They were just the right size. Satisfied.
I tried "toe shoes" when they first came out. I lost interest but when I saw the Peluva I thought I'd give it another try. I'm glad I did! I find I'm wearing these almost every day, walking, to work, traveling, hiking and more. They were much more comfortable on a long international flight than traditional shoes, and even on rocky mountain terrain they seem to work pretty well. Not good in snow or mud -- but didn't expect them to be! In the summer I frequently wear them without socks, late fall/winter I wear socks. They passed the "will I really wear these" test, so I purchased several of the other models, and another Strand in a different color. I try to wear these as much as possible, but when it's wet or snowy...I use different shoes. They get dirty easily, but are easy to wash. I purchased a shoe dryer which helps when they get damp.
wear it all day
These are hard to put on, but after they are on its like I'm wearing nothin, they are so comfortable that I forget I'm wearing them for a while sometimes. Only issue I have isn't even with the shoes, its the socks. Not a fan of no show socks, but they are a must have for the shoes though. Overall I'm impressed, but would love to see more options for the socks someday.
I bought it in size 10 and I need a 10.5. I wear 9.5. So, I followed the suggested add-on .5 on any size. Well 1 full size is more appropriate. Cheers
Been wearing toe shoes for years but was always wishing someone would design a "more" normal shoe, such as it is. This is where Peluva took the giant leap, and I want to say, thank you! Let's face it, toe shoes are toe shoes, but Peluva has taken the leap and applied a fresh look to toe shoes. The styling is much different and at first quick glance looks like a normal shoe. I was not sure if I would like the higher stack height, but at the end of the day, I sure did. The shoes are just flat out comfortable both with or without socks as I have worn them both ways. I also like the lace up style, I just think it allows for more adjustment and it makes the shoes look really good. I will be purchasing additional pairs soon, I like them that much! Hats off to all the folks at Peluva.
Great customer service but sizing was not accurate. Nearly little difference between sizes 10-11 which made me have to request exchange. Also tie enclosure is sloppy. Would also say that toe box is too wide for those with slimmer foot.
The shoes were super lightweight and comfortable!!! Thank you Paluva for freeing the feet!!
Nice fitting and pretty comfortable shoe. These have been very good at strengthening my feet and toes. I wear them for long walks everyday. I look forward to using them and the relief feet feel after. I could tell after a week of using them, just how much better my feet felt and looked. My toes thank Peluva.
For note, I have a wide foot(4E/Extra Wide)and have to usually go 2 sizes larger to fit most shoes. These are the best fitting shoes I have had. With this, the foot scanner did not properly measure my foot. Kept implying it was either 8(I am usually 9.5) or would say my foot was too small. Mild discomfort when first wearing, toes cramped. After wearing them more they fit like a glove. Only issue is now that its winter the breathable material lets more cold air in the I am use to. I think due to no padding nor arch support, causes muscles to tense in legs more then usual. My only concern is how well they will last years down the line. Most shoes I try to keep at least for 3 years. While the quality is nice, unsure if they will stand to wear and tear. For everday walking they seem fine, unsure how they will handle hiking or rougher terrain. Also, as someone who walks on their toes when barefoot, these are the first shoes to allow this and not feel painful/uncomfortable.
I loved the way this felt, if they had only fit... I wear a 49 in Vibram... But apparently the 14 here are 48.5. And they were just a touch to small 😩 I am going they make extended sizing.
Really cool 😎
Uncomfortable both to walk in and in terms of material. If you're in the market for shoes like this, get a cheap pair on Amazon for the same quality.
i gave you a 5 star review, don't make me write words about it. good shoe.
These are so much more comfortable than standard shoes. The toe spread is a game changer. The quality is amazing as well and I expect these shoes to last me a long time.
They are very comfortable. Definitely order a 1/2 size larger than you normally would for regular shoe size. There is a little learning curve to getting toes in the right spots. Hopefully they will hold up to daily wear.
It feels great no real difference to the Miami but I would recommend the Miami for transitioning as it provides greater comfort. I do like the Strand better though, it has a much better fit. Fivefinger sock highly recommended for sliding in better.
I enjoy using these shoes for errands etc. I will next try using them for lifting weights (not cardio yet). So far like them. I had to return one pair and go up 1/2 size (a result of initially depending on the photo app link). I forgot to upsize the socks to the 11 and up size, so I just wear without socks for now. I am not sure wether I will use socks with these.
