The sizing is correct and they are as advertised :) If you're thinking about it, give it a try.
These are a great pair of shoes. I sized up like it said but I think I’ll just stay with a 9 instead of 9 1/2. They feel a bit big but other than that I love them .. oh one more thing. I wish they came with shoe laces not the elastic ones. Thank you.
Got these a couple weeks ago felt odd at first as to be expected but as they wore in the have conformed perfectly to my feet. Now my feet feel naked wrapped in armor what a great feeling
Loved my peluvas! They where a bit expensive, and the need of special socks adds another layer of cost, but honestly they are worth it, still trying them out. They take a bit to get used to but not to long after some minutes the strangeness goes away after 2 or 3 days they feel super natural. PD: use their sizing app, it was extremely precise.
I did my normal walk and it felt good as advertised.
I ordered a full size bigger and they fit perfectly. Definitely recommend. Not good for the snow the moisture goes right through but otherwise good. Best worn in dry places. The bottoms soak up all water you step in into the shoes and you get wet feet.
These are my second pair of Peluva shoes. Extremely comfortable shoes. That is all one can ask of shoes. Order a half size to full size larger than your regular shoe size. I sized a half larger and they are perfect.
Peluvas may be my new favorite go-to everyday shoe! I have bunions and flat feet that got pretty painful for a while there, so I've been using orthotics for years. Naturally, I was concerned that toe shoes with flat soles and no arch support might end up causing more harm than good. The first day I wore them about 2 hours. The next day I wore them about 3-4 hours, and I took it as such. Day by day I've been adding more and more time to properly train my feet and build the tolerance. I've been wearing them for a month and my feet rarely get uncomfortable now. I can tell these puppies are strengthening my feet and legs with every step I take and I can't wait to see the results after a year of using them! Now, at first they can be a PAIN to put on, but you get the hang of it pretty quickly. If you're like me and have these foot problems, just be smart about your approach and listen to your body. If you start feeling discomfort or pressure, just switch to your regular shoes for a while or the rest of the day. As a Massage Therapist, I truly believe Peluvas can help just about anyone if done so correctly!
Feels amazing really socks are hard to get but i like them.
Really amazing shoe if your crazy about healthly feet like me ! Will be buying others to try hahaha
I used to run in Vibram 5-Fingers back in the day when they were cool. I'm glad Peluva called me back after so many years. I'm dealing with a slightly collapsed arch in my left foot and these are the answer to the problem. Also looking to re-train my toes to splay out wide for better balance and grip... Aside from the slight hassle of finding matching L/R toe-socks in the dark before putting them on, these are great. I'm part of a free national men's fitness group (F3, check us out) and we train on a variety of surfaces....concrete, grass, basketball courts etc... the ATRs (with the tread) give me enough traction to do dynamic movement without feeling clumsy. Plus I'm old enough now that no one makes fun of me for how goofy they looks ;-) The shoes are more comfortable than you'd imagine and I'm never in a rush to get them off. I usually wear a 10.5 and the 11.5s fit me perfectly, as they suggested. Maybe they'll come out with some 'better' color options for the ATR in the near future ;-)
Still getting use to putting them on. Wore them walking for the first time. Four miles with alternating squats and lunges every 1/4 mile, they worked well and helped with stability during lunges
As a new owner of this style of shoe, I was definitely a little frustrated at how difficult they were to put on. It's taken a few days to get it perfected. But now I absolutely love them! I use them for the gym only and they're fantastic, especially on leg day! I've never been so balanced during walking lunges and squats. Also, for me, they didn't run a size larger like most of the reviews stated. I had to return the first pair for just that reason. Mine are true to size, even with my second toe slightly longer than my big toe. Awesome shoes!!
Already feeling better after a few days, I think these shoes will strengthen the muscles in my feet, ankles and legs.
Love them
I love my Atr’s everything about them are amazing. Great traction . Comfortable on the foot, toe functionality is A-1. What more could you ask for? ☝🏾
At first I was very sad that they were uncomfortable on my left foot. But after a week with them they have become the most comfortable shoe I have worn in a while. I have worn smaller shoes and my toes were pushed together but now I am starting to see some space. Gives try for a least 1 month before you judge em
My HOKA size is 13. After exchanging the PELUVA Stand ATR that I initially ordered in the wrong size, I’ve realized that my best PELUVA size is 12 at the largest. I have a pronounced bunion bend in my toes (from years of track and a knee injury that eventually led to a bunion), and my feet are fairly narrow with a diagonal taper rather than a box shape taper like the shoe design. Because of that, I need my toes to reach all the way to the end of the individual toe slots in the PELUVA shoes. Even though my usual shoe size is between 12.5 and 13, I could probably get away with 11.5 in PELUVA because of my specific foot shape and needs. The size 13 in this shoe was comically too big. I hope this information helps someone else order a more accurate size for themselves. Oh—and for what it’s worth, the sizing app on this website that uses your smartphone actually calculated that I needed a size 14!
It's like going barefoot. I have had neuropathy for years. This is my second pair and that has drastically improved over the last 12 months.
My other first pair of Peluva shoes (yes I picked two for my first purchase). I bought these to replace my Vibram Spidreons that have already run out their useful life. I knew two things going into this purchase. First, that I was purchasing a quality shoe at a great price that supported my barefoot shoe style preferences. Second, I was prepared for what would feel much more like a "normie" sole compared to my preference for minimalist shoes. What I like is the overall quality of the shoe. It's a proper fit based on size recommendations. I also like the nice option to be able to hook my lace to the shoe using it's clever design. Much better than Velcro fasteners I'm used to using. The sole is great. Zero drop. But much thicker than I'm used to wearing. They were easy to put on, feel good to walk in, but when I went to push the brake pedal on the car, I immediately missed not being able to feel the pedal with my feet. Not a bad thing, just different. For the quality and fit, something I'll be able to overlook and get used to over time. Can never give up my minimal sole options, but will keep my Peluva in the mix as one of my favorite casual shoes for everyday wear.
Most comfortable shoes ever. I forget I am wearing shoes. Super supportive. Wore them all day right out of the box. Never going back to old shoes.
Great shoes, awesome fit! I'm doing a 5k every other day in them and my feet feel great!
These shoes so far are very comfortable. I've worn barefoot style shoes in the past but I still had pain. With these. I'm only in self induced mental pain when I can't get my feet in and my toes in the boxes in one shot. It's getting easier but I still struggle with it. I attribute that to me not being used to it yet. That's not a bash on the shoes. I don't wear them a lot since in the winter they don't keep my feet very warm, and I don't want to put them through the harsh salt belt environment of NY just yet. So I wait for nicer days to wear them. I have people that say they are cool. Other think they look funny. Personally. I think they look good, but more importantly they train me to walk correctly and let my toes breath. It helps me feel comfortable and that's what matters. I do highly recommend wearing the toe socks. It does help with getting them on easier. I'm on the fence about getting the winter boot for next year. I also need to wear boots at work that are steel toed for my job. I do wish Peluva made a safety toe version of these. I'd get them in a heartbeat, or play guinea pig during the testing phases. If it weren't for me trying to keep them nice and my primary job. I'd have them on no matter what. So far holding up great. The little adjuster on the laces is very nice for me at the end of the day. I can just loosen them and take them off. I did reach out to customer service about cleaning tips and things. They got back to me very quickly and on a Sunday. So for me. I'll be buying another pair in the future.
