The first pair I ordered were too small so I had to go 1/2 size up. Basically, I like them but I still struggle to get them on. In addition to getting the toes into the right pockets, there are flaps of fabric around the lace area. If one of these flaps gets folded the wrong way, the shoe is not comfortable until that is corrected. I'm impressed with the conscientious followup by Peluva customer support.

Women's Strand Lightweight TrainerI was a bit skeptical about these, but needed more cushion than my other barefoot/wide toebox shoes provided so I was willing to try them. They have been really comfortable to work out and walk around in, and provide the cushion I need for running. My one issue is that the heel is fairly wide for me and it's hard to get a tight enough around the ankle because the eyelets for the laces don't go enough around the sides. However, having separate toes seems to help hold my foot in place well enough for the most part. Peluva was very helpful with exchanging for a bigger size. I went a full size up from my original order because it was much too tight on my big toes, even though all my other toes had a lot of extra room in front.
Women's Strand Lightweight TrainerThe shoes fits well. I thought it was a little unusual that when I lace up the shoes the eyelets on the outside of the foot fold in, creating a fold from between the third and fourth toe to the lace opening. I still find them very comfortable.
Entirely different experience than regular sneakers. After, for like a glove. Recommend walking around the house first.

Women's Strand Lightweight TrainerI grew up mostly barefoot and generally not a fan of shoes so I tried Vibran once before and quickly didn’t like them. Figured these would be the same but been pleasantly surprised. These ones I have been wearing around the house and also doing some explorative hiking. I actually ended up getting the sportier model for hiking because I like the barefoot feel. The trainer was slipping climbing hills. I also ordered a size down so they would be snugger for hiking. But the size they recommended with the paper test is great for everyday around house and out and about. Only negative is I keep going back in forth with wearing socks of not. Without socks they seem to be rubbing where the seams are. That is the only reason it isn’t a 5 star. But potentially.. a break in period is needed.

Still tricky to put on, but I can feel an improvement in the bunion I was developing. I'd prefer a more neutral gray color to either black or white.

I had to re-order my size 3 times until I got it right! But now, I can actually see my feet changing shape and the strength and balance growing from the ground up! I actually prefer my Peluvas now compared to my other shoes. They work. I'm sold. Thank you. PS. My friends and family are so tired of me talking about my toe shoes! Ha Ha
Women's Strand Lightweight TrainerI love the shoes but for some reason even a whole size up feels a little tight. It fits mire tighter on my left foot than. Not sure why since both left and right are the same size shoe. Otherwise, I would have given a 5 star on these. The tightness is between the 4th toe and baby toe so maybe looking into whether adjustments need to be made would be good.
I find it hard to find shoes that fit properly. When I have my foot properly sized it is a 4.5. I have a wide foot box that makes it even harder to find a shoe that fits. I learned about toe shoes around 2011, the price tag kept me from trying them. I purchased these to try and correct the position of my toes on the lateral side. I walk at a fast pace which with ill fitting shoes messes with my balance at a fast pace. I find it hard to keep my balance if an obstacle trips me up. I have found that I can maintain a consistent pace now without worrying about tripping and face planting.

Women's Strand Lightweight TrainerI love the concept and research behind the benefits. I am still getting used to how they look on and they are very casual in appearance. One foot feels amazing and the other is a bit uncomfortable in the middle toes as my toes are not flat but bent up in the knuckles. Definitely need a thinker soled shoe for my 30+ min morning walks. Will certainly be ordering another pair.

Women's Strand Lightweight TrainerThese are by far the best shoes I have worn. I use to come home from work with soreness and throbbing feet & with these shoes it took it away. In the beginning I did feel soreness especially on the toes but only because my toes were not used to being seperated like that but after wearing them everyday for a few weeks it slowly started to feel better and now Im walking so comfortably. I also felt muscles in my feet being used that I wasnt used to!! Crazy!! I believe I have stronger feet! I know i do! What is even more remarkable is that the bunions I have are nearly almost gone. You cant even tell and they were getting bad.. they almost look how they used to before bunions appeared. I work with them & I workout with them. Only issue i found was that after 2 weeks of using them they started to fall apart just a tiny bit in the toe area but nothing super glue can fix. And after a month or so another toe started to fall apart as well. Peluva you have done a wonderful job in making these shoes but I hope that 1 issue can be improved so it does not happen again! I also wish & hope you make PELUVA SNOW BOOTS or maybe STEEL TOE PELUVAS!!! Wow would that be a dream!! I also would like to say I bought water resistant peluvas in white. I cant wait to buy more!! Im very happy and please with my purchase! I could say a lot more but i will leave it at that! Thank you for making such outstanding magnificent shoes! 🙏🏻
