Trying these out at the request of my PT - her demand actually :-) Getting used to putting them on, and to the comments peopel make about how cool they are. My big toe touches the end, hoping it's not too short. Meanwhile, I'll wear them daily and see how much faster they make me.

Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerI'm a Peluva CONVERT! I've been working on my foot health and balance as one main focus of my health in 2025. I have Morton's neuromas on both feet. At the beginning of '25, my feet were flat, bunions were re-emerging after surgery to have them removed from both feet in 2006, and my right toes would get a tingling sensation of painful pins and needles after walking just one mile. I started watching Courtney Conley talk about earth shoes and barefoot shoes. I now own several Xero earth shoes, Vivo Barefoot shoes, vibram five fingers and now Peluvas. Each shoe has served it's purpose in allowing my feet to splay, move and expand with each step. But omg... Peluva is winning for me among these brands! I now own 3 pairs of Peluvas - - the lightweight strand trainer, the mesh sports trainer and the strand ATR Peluvas. I can walk for MILES and MILES and Miles (and do so daily) in these shoes without *any* foot pain! I feel like Peluvas have given me back my ability to walk! - I am almost making myself cry thinking about how much better my life is now that I'm able to not only walk 5-7 miles a day, but I can do it with a weighted vest! I will add that I still need a thin metatarsal insert to help support my Morton's neuromas but this is an issue unique to me. It did require a break-in period for me, but I feel my foot issues are quite extensive, so everyone's mileage my vary here.

Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerFun shoe to wear. My normal shoes are 9.5 to 10 and they say on their website to order one size larger. I ordered a 10 thinking i was more like a 9. I do wish I had ordered an 11 as the long toe beside the big toe feels a bit scrunched. The other four toes fit great. When I order another shoe I will do size 11. Lining up the toes is fun! In a regular shoe I probably turn my toes out - for these i recommend turning your toes in - once the 2nd toe is lined up the other three move into place quite easily.
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerI purchased a half size larger. They are more comfortable to sprint in than walk in but I like them. Front of toes feels a little off so I'm hoping they stretch a little. A softer run than 5 fingers. Will buy again

It’s been a while since I used shoes like this; I used vibrams years ago, these are so much more comfortable. I havent taken them to the gym yet but I’ve done some rucking and it feels amazing. There are very few times when I’m so satisfied with a purchase, this is one of them.

Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerTo keep this simple. I used to wear the other 5 “toe’d”shoes. I appreciate not only the look, but the feel and comfort of these much more. These shoes are a perfect length for my feet (no socks), I would recommend going up a size if you are choosing to wear socks. They are comfortable and seem durably designed. I have already ordered a second pair.
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerThey arrived fairly quickly, even though they are from the USA and I live in Alberta, Canada! They took a week or so to break in gradually, wearing them a bit longer each day. I'm a woman, and it said my size is a 9.5, but I ordered the men's because the choice I wanted in the women's was out of stock in my size. I went down 1 1/2 sizes as recommended when a woman wants to wear men's shoes, and then went up 1/2 size to a size 8.5 because I want to wear socks, and that is also recommended. With socks, they still feel a bit too tight in the big toe - I feel like my big toe is too long for the big toe slot, so next time, I'll order a size 9 in men's shoes or a 10.5 in women's shoes, just to make sure the big toe fits o.k. However, if I wear these 8.5 men's shoes barefoot, they! feel GREAT on all my toes! I prefer to wear them without socks because of how comfortable they feel with bare feet! I walk 10,000 steps daily, and I already feel like my feet are getting stronger since wearing them. And a funny thing, I had a left knee pain issue before I purchased them, but after wearing them for a few weeks, my knee pain is gone! I wonder if these shoes are changing my bio-mechanics from my feet and further up my kinetic chain???

I remember around 2010 while I was still active duty army a lot of my soldiers were buying the new running toe shoes that had just come out. Unfortunately before I bought a pair the army made a rule that we couldn't wear them. Cut to 15 years later and my chiropractor recommended me looking into minimalist shoes to help with my mobility. I was not really sure how I would feel about these at first, but after putting them on they are more than I expected. Its hard to describe because on one hand it doesn't feel like I'm wearing shoes, but more like slippers. On the other hand, my feet still feel protected for going running or to the gym.
