good fit…held up first two wearings and washings
Ultra Move Crew Sock UnisexOnce I got the size right, I love them. They are now my new favorite shoes. I don’t like wearing “regular” shoes anymore.
Men's Miami Casual LoaferSocks are comfy but they are gray not white
Everyday No Show Sock UnisexInitially purchased using the sizing tool at the website. Shoes were extremely snug and very difficult to get on. Watched some of the very helpful videos and still determined that shoes were too small. Returned and got next size up. Return was easy and replacement shoes came relatively quick. Fit was much better and videos were very helpful in understanding how shoes went on. Still getting used to this type of shoe, but my feet feel great.
Men's Strand Sport MeshGreat overall
I will be using these shoes to try and get the use back in my toes. With my feet locked in regular shoes for 40 years it is shocking what it feels like to have my foot move like it should. The hard part is how they look. It is hard to adjust to. My wife hates them, but she knows what they are made for. She just won’t be seen in public with me. I’m excited to keep using them when the weather warms up and get a feel for daily use. Excited for the way my body has already woken up a littLe bit from wearing them. The app told me to get 12’s but my guess is that 11.5 is best based on how much room my smaller toes have.
Men's Strand Sport MeshThis is my fourth pair, the bottoms are much thicker. I was skeptical about the comfort level, but they’re just as comfortable as the rest of the shoes that I own! I only wish they were waterproof. Water seems to always seep from underneath into my toes and all my shoes.
Women's Aspen Hiking BootI have been using the Vibram products and these have more support in the sole and arch and are easier to get on due to the conventional lace up.. the cons are the price ( especially for us Canadians), and the sizing does run small , otherwise so far so good:) would recommend..
Women's Strand Sport MeshVery comfortable. Im waiting for my new boots after the rivet holding the laces broke. Excellent customer service.
The red shoes are more comfortable than the black
Men's Strand Sport MeshPersonally, I like these. I have the Miami's and I left a very detailed review of those that doesn't seem to have been posted. My biggest complaint with these is how much material is left at the top of the foot. If you have a really high InStep you would bug these. Otherwise they're comfortable. They are a bit warm. They don't have those hard toe spacers in them, which I do prefer that they don't. Overall, I like these and I would like to see more warm weather shoes built off of this model
Men's Zen Active Slip-OnFit well and they are comfortable just my right pinky toe has some slight irritation. I’m still in the break in period though.
The socks are a definite plus when easing into the Peluva shoes
Ultra Move Crew Sock UnisexIts still cold here so I haven't worn my new shoes yet. They were on sale so I went for it just to try. They do slip a bit and there's no way to secure them but they are a casual style. I clean houses and was gonna wear them for work but haven't yet. I find my toes get cold when separated and I didn't want to get the shoes wet running back n forth to my truck. So , I like the shoes , easy to put on and comfortable but haventbrrally put them to the test yet. My sister thinks they look like sasquatch feet which they do and that's cool. Haaaa . I give a 4 star cuz of the heel slip.
Women's Zen Active Slip-On95% of the time I've worn shoes over the past 16 years they have been Vibram Five-finger shoes with 2-4mm of "cushion". At one point I had 30 pair! As a dog groomer, I stand for hours at a time, sometimes on hard surfaces. This was never a problem until recently. At 60 years old, my plantar fascia (the thick, fibrous, and inelastic connective tissue on the sole of the foot that extends from the heel bone to the toes) has been causing me a lot of pain by the end of a workday. My new Strand Sport Mesh (SMM) allow me to keep the shoe form I've become accustomed to with 9mm of cushion giving my tired feet some much needed relief! If you are already used to the form-fitting design of VFF it's easy to switch to Peluva. They are slightly bulkier/stiffer than VFF, but are still lightweight and provide some ground feel. I normally wear an EU43 in VFF so I opted for a US size 10. With socks the SSM fit okay, but are a tiny bit large. If I push my toes fully forward there is a little bit of space at the heal. I think that's because the Peluva shoe has a bit more structure to it where as VFF is more elastic and hug the foot. Without socks, or with super thin socks, the SSM would be too big for me. I might try a US 9.5 for my next pair. The only concern I have is the durability of the nylon(?) eyelets of the SSM. I worry that the sawing action of tightening the laces may wear them out prematurely. Time will tell. I prefer the standard hole punch eyelets of the Strand ATR.
I've only tried these on, on two occasions. The first was for about 10 minutes. The second for a few hours. I am still in the breaking in period; however, I will say that my feet have not been as sore as wearing my Xeros. I really like the toes being separated. I have been wearing them without socks and they have rubbed on my heals creating a hot spot. I feel this will take care of it's self the more I wear them. I am excited to try them on a run and see how my feet respond. So far, I am optimistic and they seem to be more comfortable than any minimalist shoe I've worn in the past.
Women's Strand Sport MeshSo far so good. I like that I don't have to deal with laces. Because I've been wearing Vibram Fivefingers for a while, I didn't have much trouble putting them on. They are comfortable and I do like the thickness of the shoe. The only issue I had and it's only slight, is that it felt tight with my left pinkie toe. Once I started walking, it loosened up some and I was fine.
Women's Carrie STRunning a bit too large.
Everyday No Show Sock UnisexI've been looking for a crew length sock that allows my toes to move! These are great! I would love them even more if they were thinner and the toes weren't so long. Little too much fabric bunching up at the end of the toes for me but I'm definitely keeping them!
Ultra Move Crew Sock UnisexI have been at whits in with doctors, shoes, insoles, and prescription insoles. The custom ones absolutely made my plantar fasciitis. So this is a last ditch effort to fix my problems. Obviously toes are gonna have to get tougher and stronger. I have been using toe socks for some time to help with corns and toe pain as well as use toe spacers so I’m used to the spreading. But I just started these last week. Unfortunately work won’t approve them so I wear to work and home that’s about it. I did my first convention this weekend to really test them as far standing and walking on carpet. They did great toes are sore after a few hours but overall I have more control and balance I need. Not sure if it’ll help fix or I need time I’m also flat footed and didn’t have as much of the pain I normally do.
I would use wool. Fuctionally they work
