The interior of the shoe is a bit rough. It needs to be softer and a bit more cushioned. The overall appearance is fine. The toes could be a little bit wider for those of us who have fat little piggies but are short.

I'm ok with having a sock showing on my foot while wearing my Peluva's, so I ordered some ankle 5 finger socks off of Amazon.
Everyday No Show Sock UnisexGot these shoes today and tried them on only to be seriously disappointed. The marketing promise was a toe shoe that had a bit more cushion than VFF's while maintaining a barefoot shoe feel. NOPE. Yes, it's a toe shoe. And, yes, it has more cushion than Vibrams, but it's not anywhere near a barefoot feel. The shoe isn't particularly flexible in any location but becomes increasingly stiff in the heal and ends up feeling very much like a "motion control" running shoe from the 90s. I'll have to wear it a bit more before deciding whether to send back or enjoy them for what they are, but be forewarned: these are NOT barefoot shoes in any real sense of the word.

Here are the cons: the shoelaces provided are far too long & the actual shoe itself does not fit tight enough around the middle of my foot, but that might be because I don't wear socks with them. The pros: I like the design of the shoe, especially the soul and the tread as they're both just enough prescription and support. The upper mesh is also unique though I have my hesitations and it lasting for a long time as I do wear these barefoot with those socks and sweat quite a bit when working out.
