Best walking/sprinting shoe I've ever owned.
Caveat for the 4 stars: Please make the tread more hearty! and the pull on tab on the back. I walk in my Strand ATR's (mostly on fine gravel trails and grass) anywhere from 1/2 hr. to 2 hours a day and sprint in them 3-4 x a week. These are my go-tos. I am currently on my 3rd pair in this style because I am finding the tread wears out for me quite quickly and when it gets down to a certain point my heels start hurting. Also I have had the pull-on tab on the back break off on my first 2 pairs within 1-2 months. It seems the stitching might not be so secure or else maybe I'm just too rough on my gear. None the less, I LOVE LOVE LOVE this style the best for what I am doing and my feet are so happy. I get so many people stopping me asking about them so they've also become a conversation piece. Thank you and please consider a heartier tread and tabs! Also, I'm a true 7.5 but always wear 8 in Peluva. Some people I know have to size up one whole size because of longer toes and such but if you have short, stumpy toes like me, I find a half size up is perfect.

I love these shoes. I have bunions on both feet and so the shoes were difficult to put on the first couple of times, but in just 1 week, my toes go right in. I haven't worn them outside, although I walk on my treadmill 1 and 1/2 miles each day wearing them. They are so comfortable. I am talking my friend who has toe problems to buy a pair.

Fell in love instantly! I have serious foot problems. Bunions, hammer toes which affect my entire foot and more. As soon as I slipped on my Peluvas, it was instant relief! I was able to walk nine miles yesterday without being in excruciating pain in the evening. I plan on ordering two more pairs of Peluvas (and more as needed in the future), plus I already recommended a pair to my brother who is starting to have the same foot issues I have.

I ordered 1/2 size up, and they fit perfectly. They are very easy for each little piggy to slip up inside each spot. I can wear them all day long. Just excellent in every way.

I’m happy to say I’ve been wearing a competing/original I sixty brand since 2009 and was skeptical of a bigger sole w peluva and am super impressed. I was a little sore becoming accustomed to the more fixed base but it has greatly improved my life as I car commute far for my Rolfing practice and the stiffer shape protects my tarsals from gas pedal fatigue. This is a big win for me. Also I love the look of them :-)

I'm new to the minimalist/barefoot shoes. I've always felt that I needed a shoe with a good arch support. A couple years ago I noticed a positive difference when I bought tennis shoes with less of a 'drop', so my shoe shopping since has been in search of a drop like 7mm or less. Enter barefoot shoes! ZERO DROP. Figured it was worth a shot! I tried 2 brands, these toe-shoes and another non-toe-shoe. These have a 9mm sole, the others have 2mm. I tried my peluvas first! (took a minute to get them on properly) As soon as I had my feet in them I really felt like they fit like a glove! lol I mean, they really wowed me right from the start! ... but being brand new shoes, they did rub in a few spots. It took a few days for that to fade away, just had to break them in. Next I tried the other brand. They were fine, definitely did not wow me like peluva. I wore each brand for a full weekend and a few half days during the week. The other brand began feeling like 'meh, ok', and ended feeling like 'meh, not so ok'. I honestly couldn't wait to get my peluvas back on my feet! Regarding the prior need for good arch support - SO NOT NECESSARY. I don't feel like anything is lacking in these shoes, don't even miss the arch support. I'm left wondering why I've needed it in my other shoes anyway?! lol Today is actually my first day wearing my peluvas to work! I was nervous because they look different (*look kinda funny) , but SERIOUSLY nobody has noticed at all! No one has said a word! I'll keep wearing them, I'm really loving these zero drop barefoot minimalist peluva toe shoes!

I’ve tried other “barefoot” style shoes but they were always too narrow. These are actually foot shaped, so my toes or the area just before my toes isn’t getting squished. Took a little getting used to, so I wore socks the first couple of runs but now I’m really enjoying them even without socks, the inside is such a soft tshirt like material.
