Great shoes, awesome fit! I'm doing a 5k every other day in them and my feet feel great!
Men's Strand ATRGreat socks - easy to put on and take off. Perfect for the shoes!
Everyday No Show Sock UnisexI love the beautiful colors. Since it was a slip on, I ordered a 9.5 size instead of 9 and that worked great for me. People stop me often to ask about what I’m wearing and let them know why they are the best ever for your feet. I always give them where to buy. Looking forward to my next one soon. How to wash toe shoes - is it okay for tossing into the washing machine?
Website was easy to navigate. No issues finding what I wanted and getting it. Job well done. Customer support was very quick to respond.
Thin, my feet breath easy in them. I don't notice they are there most of the time.
Everyday No Show Sock UnisexGot my first pair of Peluva's and I think they are fantastic!! My feet and toes THANK YOU!
For sure! The gave immediate response to my concerns and offer ongoing support. Unusual customer support for now days!
I was so excited to get these shoes. I have been wearing them indoors since receiving them because it’s winter, snowing etc. I wore them for a few hours each day and I wasn’t sure if I was going to keep them. I actually contacted the company to see how to return them. Customer support was amazing and quick to respond. They advised me on how they are supposed to fit and feel and also that they need a break in period. So I started wearing them to do my weight lifting and cardio exercises. They are really fantastic and are getting easier to get my toes into the separations with each wear. I am glad I listed to customer support and gave the shoes another try. I just thought they weren’t for me, but they really are! I can’t wait to wear them when springtime comes so I can wear them on my daily 5 mile outdoor walks! Thank you Peluva!!!! P.S. I tried uploading a video and pics but it won’t work. :(
Women's Strand Sport MeshGreat shoes
Men's Strand Sport MeshThese shoes so far are very comfortable. I've worn barefoot style shoes in the past but I still had pain. With these. I'm only in self induced mental pain when I can't get my feet in and my toes in the boxes in one shot. It's getting easier but I still struggle with it. I attribute that to me not being used to it yet. That's not a bash on the shoes. I don't wear them a lot since in the winter they don't keep my feet very warm, and I don't want to put them through the harsh salt belt environment of NY just yet. So I wait for nicer days to wear them. I have people that say they are cool. Other think they look funny. Personally. I think they look good, but more importantly they train me to walk correctly and let my toes breath. It helps me feel comfortable and that's what matters. I do highly recommend wearing the toe socks. It does help with getting them on easier. I'm on the fence about getting the winter boot for next year. I also need to wear boots at work that are steel toed for my job. I do wish Peluva made a safety toe version of these. I'd get them in a heartbeat, or play guinea pig during the testing phases. If it weren't for me trying to keep them nice and my primary job. I'd have them on no matter what. So far holding up great. The little adjuster on the laces is very nice for me at the end of the day. I can just loosen them and take them off. I did reach out to customer service about cleaning tips and things. They got back to me very quickly and on a Sunday. So for me. I'll be buying another pair in the future.
Men's Strand ATRVery comfortable; after get them broke in, they feel amazing.
Men's Strand Sport MeshVery comfortable a bit large for me.
Everyday No Show Sock UnisexFit perfectly
Men's Court Ad-InI have worn this type of shoe by a different maker. I find these to be a bit more comfortable than the other. I ordered my true size at first, but my second pair I ordered a 1/2 size larger. The larger size gave a little more room up front. The advertisement said order above your true size. Both fit good.
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerAwesome shoes!
Men's Strand ATRI wish this came out a few months ago! Finally my feet are warm and it handles the slush pretty well. I’m not scared to wear these on freezing nasty slushy days. I don’t think it’s something I’d push too far, and not sure how dry your feet would stay running trails. But for casual walking and cleaner trails no problem. If moving fast I’d imagine any water that did get in would likely not be too much of an issue, not tested though. City streets with nasty snow and ice, definitely no problem. Finally, I can wear something in the nasty winter and not freeze! Also, this tread is pretty amazing! Really good grip on rough terrain!
I was really surprised by how comfortable these shoes are gonna be. I already wear five finger brown shoes. It's an excellent brand, but I believe Peluva is the next best brand. I am happy to say that I feel a lot more comfortable walking barefoot again in these shoes. I'm just hopeful that maybe in the near future there will be a shoe with thicker. Try it on the bottom of the shoe in order to hike, trek, and have shoes that give you the ability to participate in more outdoor activities. I am happy with my purchase. I typically wear a 9 1/2 inch shoes however they suggested to purchase a size up if need be. I just stuck with a size 10 and I am happy.
Women's Strand Lightweight TrainerVery comfortable and easier to slip in and out. I got the black ones and I'm thinking about buying the white ones too 😁
These shoes have relieved so much of the pain from standing and walking especially in my Right foot as I believe that it’s awakened my intrinsic foot muscles and put the joints in my foot in the right alignment
Men's Court Ad-InComfy and not sweaty
Everyday No Show Sock UnisexThese shoes are just what I needed for my gym workouts . They are comfortable and flexible, allowing me to grip the mats instead of sliding when trying to push or pull sleds. I do think parts of my feet are getting a workout, too.
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerI think the quality of the boot is good. Theres a bunch of imperfections in where the fabric is glued together and cut . But the one thing i dont like the most is that it has literally no protection from getting water in your toes, whcih is highly prentative if i want to hike any varying terrain. These are cosmetic upgrades or a boot only ro be used when in very dry conditions.
Men's Aspen Hiking BootLove them!!
95% of the time I've worn shoes over the past 16 years they have been Vibram Five-finger shoes with 2-4mm of "cushion". At one point I had 30 pair! As a dog groomer, I stand for hours at a time, sometimes on hard surfaces. This was never a problem until recently. At 60 years old, my plantar fascia (the thick, fibrous, and inelastic connective tissue on the sole of the foot that extends from the heel bone to the toes) has been causing me a lot of pain by the end of a workday. My new Strand Sport Mesh (SMM) allow me to keep the shoe form I've become accustomed to with 9mm of cushion giving my tired feet some much needed relief! If you are already used to the form-fitting design of VFF it's easy to switch to Peluva. They are slightly bulkier/stiffer than VFF, but are still lightweight and provide some ground feel. I normally wear an EU43 in VFF so I opted for a US size 10. With socks the SSM fit okay, but are a tiny bit large. If I push my toes fully forward there is a little bit of space at the heal. I think that's because the Peluva shoe has a bit more structure to it where as VFF is more elastic and hug the foot. Without socks, or with super thin socks, the SSM would be too big for me. I might try a US 9.5 for my next pair. The only concern I have is the durability of the nylon(?) eyelets of the SSM. I worry that the sawing action of tightening the laces may wear them out prematurely. Time will tell. I prefer the standard hole punch eyelets of the Strand ATR.
