Has potential
Coming from using vibram finger shoes, these shoes are taking more adjustment than anticipated. Began with the ordering. The site says to order up a size. What they mean is not a US shoe size, but a cm size. So it took 3 tries to get it right.
The correct size for me came yesterday. I really like the sole feel. Satisfying foot bed. Haven't gotten used to the toe fit yet. Wish there was a touch more room in the laces to get my feet in...but once they stretch a bit, I think they will be fine. Looking forward to breaking them in. :)
These have a different feel than the Strand ATR, which I expected. The sizing is also a little different. I think I could have gone with my normal size 12 instead of going up a half size.
That said, I like them a lot. They're comfortable and not stiff at all. The leather is thin and flexible.

Putting the shoes on took some getting used to as the toes aren't used to being free. First week was just for that, getting used to the feel. It's hard getting the right size for me because 10.5 kinda hugs my second toe but my right foot slides a bit while running in the 11 and can't just put another pair of socks on with these. Nice going from composite toe boots to the Flexy's. Definitely enjoy the feel while doing field cardio and gym exercises and yes, my feet are cramping less as I wear them more.

I can feel muscles I never knew existed now working in my legs and feet and sometimes I hardly even notice I’m wearing the ATR. My feet use to hurt my first steps waking up in the morning after 1 week (in week 3 now) that first morning step pain is basically gone now. Along with being able to jump without the balls of my feet screaming gives me
hope getting back to being athletic. Really nothing directly bad to say other than the consistency could be better and I feel the pairs I have could fit better but don’t wanna keep doing returns and definitely can’t go a size bigger. But overall very good product and fluid return process.

Customer service was helpful as this was a clearance item and non returnable however they were very kind and helpful in helping me be able to get a chance to get a different pair as i normally wear a 6½ tennis shoe so went the suggested ½ size bigger so got a 7 but had discomfort and needed a 7½

Didn’t take long for my feet to adject to it it’s feel great to walk in I will be buying another every day pair soon in the gym or walking around outside you feel everything but not in a bad way and when you at the gym hitting different workouts it’s feel natural and make you feel like you can run very fast

Loved the paper size calculator
I was very hesitant about what size to get and then found the size calculator with posting picture with a piece of paper. It did give me a size that worked right off the bat. The chat bot tho can get into circular convos when it can’t answer your questions. :P

Easiest 5 to shoes I have owned
I grew up mostly barefoot and generally not a fan of shoes so I tried Vibran once before and quickly didn’t like them. Figured these would be the same but been pleasantly surprised.
These ones I have been wearing around the house and also doing some explorative hiking. I actually ended up getting the sportier model for hiking because I like the barefoot feel. The trainer was slipping climbing hills. I also ordered a size down so they would be snugger for hiking. But the size they recommended with the paper test is great for everyday around house and out and about.
Only negative is I keep going back in forth with wearing socks of not. Without socks they seem to be rubbing where the seams are. That is the only reason it isn’t a 5 star. But potentially.. a break in period is needed.

The first pair of Peluva's had seams that irritated my toes, so they recommended this pair. These are much more comfortable! Still tricky to put on, but I can feel an improvement in the bunion I was developing. I'd prefer a more neutral gray color to either black or white.

The toes feel stiff the left one in particular was painful at the beginning. Getting a bit better as I use them.
I did not know how much I’m using other parts of my foot with this shoes, since I feel my feet a bit sore.
I’m giving them done time to get used to .
I’ve had many compliments from them .
They are really good, personally I think they should be $80 to $90, but i might be stuck in the days of skeletoes that were $45. These have a bit more cushion than the Vivo barefoot. The bottom seem sturdy but the mesh between the toes seem very light for being a high wear and tear area. Great for long jumps and lunges, doesn't really cut into your skin. Comfy enough that I've forgotten to take my shoes off twice.

This boot/shoe is amazing, literally other than the soles my foot feels naked, like wearing moccasins. I truly would recommend. They look great with pair of khakis, well as great as a 5 toe shoe can look . The only reason I'm not giving this a 5 star is very Petty, I simply cannot keep the dang thing tied. Tie them extra tight and 2m later, laces slinging around. Petty I know. Customer service was great with answering questions on the leather care and they responded very fast. I'm very happy and if you ignore my petty ding they are 5/5.

I love these shoes
I lift and walk in them and it feels good to have my toes stretch out. I definitely feel more stable in big lifts. My only complaint is the laces get uneven everytime I wear them I have to readjust them and the quality of the laces is just sub par to the rest of the shoe.

As a longtime strength
coach, and a barefoot footwear lover, I have almost exclusively good things to say about the Peluva. Comfortable, stylish, good snug fit, devoid of fancy colors, and a subdued logo. One of my favorite things about these shoes is the ability to truly toe off when walking or doing loaded carries. Really helps engage the posterior musculature. My only knock, as a barefoot footwear snob, is that I would love them, personally, to have a thinner sole. That said, for the person who is transitioning from traditional footwear to barefoot footwear, these are a great mid-range step.
