Great gift for people who prefer to be barefoot!
My husband loves to be barefoot. Ever since he was young, he has hated the standard shoe (AKA foot prison, as I not-so-jokingly refer to them as, on his behalf). So, I scraped together some money to get him his first pair of barefoot shoes, which I ended up choosing this model.
Needless to say, he loves them! And I'm very happy with my purchase. He wears them to work, now, as I intended for them to be inconspicuous enough (the all-black kind) to not be too noticeable unless you were looking directly at his feet. But that plan has largely failed, as, I've learned he brings them up to his customers and coworkers simply because he adores them so.
Also, I went a size and a half up from his shoe size, as the sizing chart suggests, and I do believe they fit perfectly as described.
Me and my partner like these socks. I have a pair of these, and he has a pair of these plus the no-show socks. He thinks the no-show socks are more comfortable in comparison, but I have no additional opinion other than these are great and the more you wear them the more you love them.
Having my toes separate in my work boots is surprisingly comforting. Also, the seam on each toe doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would (as, on "normal" socks, they do). And by my saying it "doesn't bother me as much," I mean it doesn't bother me at all! 5/5 :)

everything I hoped it would be
never had a pair of toe-shoes before but my feet and body be hurting due to my slightly physically demanding job so i try to wear my peluva toe-shoes outside of work whenever i can and it makes a noticeable difference. in general i just tell people i feel better when i wear them but what makes me feel better when i think of it is how it kinda helps correct my lower back and hips a bit more. i'm not talking from a researched viewpoint, just what i notice when i wear them, but it's probably because all my life i have felt like shoes have just kinda hurt me in a sense starting from the bottom leading to the top. i could keep talking but that should suffice lol.

These are great for outdoor use. Since I needed more warmth with winter temps still sticking around, I ordered the boots. These will work well when the temps start to climb.

Intelligent design
These toe shoes do exactly what they say they do and more. Very comfortable fitting for the toes to go into. Takes some getting used to at first. With the smaller size of 9 1/2 there is only slight gap at the end. But I don’t mind them being slightly open. My toes still fit into all the slots and it spaces them out allowing for more grounded movement during my workouts. Especially on leg days when doing lunges. Being able to spread each individual toe as I move is making a huge difference in my balance and ankle muscles mobility. Which I strive to be consistent with. These toe shoes are helping in many ways! Very satisfied with the purchase. May even buy a second different pair down the line.

I feel like I’ve waited my entire life for a shoe this comfortable. I hated every pair of court shoes I’ve had to wear to play a sport I love. This changes everything. I now have two pair and can’t stress enough- if you’re in the fence- just do it. I will admit, they can be a little frustrating to get on, but at this point, I can only say it’s worth the effort.

Best Shoes Ever
What is there to say other than, I will never go back to regular shoes. This company has converted me not just to the barefoot shoe market, but to the toe shoe market specifically. I don’t think that I would in my right mind buy this type of shoe from any other company, as Peluva has given me the most comfortable shoes for the value. I’ve tried a few other brands, and they just don’t perform as well as these. They are comfortable, they do exactly what they say they do, and not only that, but they listen to their customers. I asked for a winter boot back in 2024, and here in 2026, they delivered with a spectacular winter boot. I would recommend this company to really anyone that has feet, which is most people I believe haha. They are great, and I will continue to support them as long as they continue delivering quality products that work. Thanks, Peluva! Keep doing what you do.

My New Favorite Winter Wear
Alright, I’ve had these for about a week now, so I’ll give my “first impressions” review.
First off, these are comfortable. Like, super comfortable. The moment I put them on, I was like “yeah, this solidifies it. I am never wearing ‘normal shoes’ ever again.” I’ve had my Strands for a few years now, and they are also amazing, but these ones signed, sealed, and delivered my devotion to this company. The Aspens are warm, soft, and have more structure than the Strands do. They feel more like a boot, but not in that inflexible and stiff way that normal boots feel. These are a comfort that I cannot explain.
Second, I live in Northwest Wisconsin. It is cold. We get ton of snow. Granted, we are towards the end of our snow season (I hope) so I haven’t had the chance to test these in deep snow, but I have had the opportunity to test them in about 4-5 inches. They are not 100% waterproof. They are water resistant. If you walk through small puddles, your toes will get wet. That’s just how it is. If you are trudging through deep snow, you will probably end up with wet socks. That’s just the reality of living where it snows half the year. I will say, if I did some of the things that got only my toes wet in the Aspens in the Strands, I would have had to change out my whole sock, because it would have been dripping, not to mention I would’ve had to dry my shoes out for hours, if not days. To conclude, they handle the snow like any other boot. They aren’t ice fishing boots, they are walking boots. And they do that extremely well. They keep the snow out of you are on regular walking trails, and if your foot sinks in a few times, you will still be dry, which is all a person can ask for. They perform like my regular old winter boots and they keep my toes warm, which is something the Strands could never do. And they are about a hundred times more comfortable than my old boots, so these are my new go-to for the winter season.
Lastly, they seem to be constructed very well. Granted, it’s only been a week so far, but my Strands have held up for several years, so I expect the same performance from the Aspens. To conclude this whole review, I would say that I highly recommend these 10/10 if you live somewhere that has cold winters. 9/10 if you like ice fishing, because these won’t replace your ice fishing gear, but they are still pretty darn good if you ask me. I’m excited to wear these in the winters to come, and to continue supporting this company, as they continue to put in quality work. I actually sent the company an email back in September of 2024 asking for a winter boot for the people up north, and I gotta say I couldn’t be more pleased with what they gave us. Definitely worth the wait Peluva. I will continue recommending your shoes to everyone who dares to ask me about them. Keep up the good work!
