Very comfortable
Women’s Strand ATRTakes a little longer to get on than my other shoes but so much more comfortable. A bit stiff right now, hoping they loosen up once broken in.
Women’s Strand ATRI wish I went to size 11. They make the return process easy
Women’s Strand ATRI like the Strand ATR. It's comfortable. I only use them as casual wear. I'm not too crazy about the elastic cord because I got spoiled with the ease of slipping on the Carrie St. However, I do appreciate that little hook on the tab, but I wish it was easier to snap on/off. Possibly having a tiny bar near the top of the shoe for the hook. What about the possibility of making the tab magnetic?
Women’s Strand ATRI did not like them, i went a size up and they still was too small my big toe was the only one that was hurting. Took a walk in them and the bottom of my feet was hurting so so bad. So i waisted my money i really wish i could be refunded.
Women’s Strand ATRThese shoes exceed my expectations, although my feet are having an adjustment period. I can’t wear them for long periods of time yet. This was a big change for my 62 year old feet. But I am hopeful they will help me overall. I really like lifting weights with them on as they are much better than running shoes or narrow lifting shoes.
Women’s Strand ATRI love all.of my Peluvas. The Strand is a little sturdier and I really like that feel. I don't wear any other shoes.
Women’s Strand ATRI've been wearing my peluvas now for almost 2 months now and I can confidently say that they have changed the way I think about not only shoes but my feet in general. I feel more connected to my body. When I take my peluvas off after a long day in them I feel so comfortable and relaxed rather than sore and achy following removing my normal shoes after wearing them all day. I will have to say that there is an adjustment period where my feet felt a little sore in my peluvas but it went away and after evaluating the situation i realized my feet were only sore because they were readjusting back to the healthy normal structure they should be in. And now i feel great!
Women’s Strand ATRI got the right shoes and they fit good.
Women’s Strand ATRBunions, bad surgery... when I wear my peluvas, I have my feet back again the way I remember them! Thank you!
Women’s Strand ATRwearing these all day from sitting behind a desk to bar tending. Becoming more comfortable by the day.
Women’s Strand ATRI ordered these because I have bunions that im having get surgery on. These shoes keep my toes from crossing under each other and keeps everything lined up with no pain. It actually helps with the pain. Suggestions...when ordering.. go up a half size. I had to send first pair back and even though everything had to be done via email ( I wish I could have spoke to someone) the return went smoothly and I got the new size in a timely fashion
Bought these to strengthen my foot from plantar fasciitis. After one week, My foot definitely doesn’t feel as tired after work. Looking forward to more improvement.
Women’s Strand ATRHonestly, surprisingly comfy🎉 Love how my feet look and how I'm stable when I workout. Perfect for hiking ♥️
I already wrote a review previously but wanted to come back and update after a Spartan race. They were fantastic! Great grip for the obstacles and slippery terrain. These shoes went through intense mud and trail conditions. They didn't hold onto water which was great as well.
I did have to do a quick return/swap for a half size up so the recommendations are spot on. Only down fall is if you live on gravel, these pick up all of those tiny rocks so need to clean them out before coming into the house. I wear them all day long with comfort - thank you!
Women’s Strand ATRThis is the best shoe I have ever had! I am 66 and was having foot, knee, hip pain. After wearing these shoes the pain is virtually gone. I can run again and my lifts are more stable. Again these are the best shoes ever!
Once the got is right, you realize how fabulous these shows are. I have 3 different styles now & wear them all the time!!!
Women’s Strand ATRI have been wearing Hoka's for years. I just recently bought a pair of Peluva's to see how they felt. I wear a size 7 so I bought a 7 1/2 and I wear organic cotton toes socks with the Peluva shoes. Peluva's are very comfortable and I like how my foot is moving more. for the first few weeks my feet were a little sore and after I got use to them it is hard going back in my Hoka's. My feet have never sweated and never sweat in my Hoka's and I have to say the only thing Negative about the Peluva's is they make my feet sweat alot!! and I wear organic cotton socks with them. I dont know why these shoes make my feet sweat and I have read other peoples reviews that wear Peluva's their feet sweat too.
Women’s Strand ATRI’m a survivor of a terrible car accident in 2017. It left me with a broken femur and crushed feet. I was in a wheelchair for 10 months. I had multiple surgeries to repair my leg, ankle and feet. Working 12 hours a day as a nurse on my feet has been a challenge. After purchasing these shoes my feet have become stronger and less sore than ever. My knees are sore but to as much as before.
Women’s Strand ATRI bought a pair "gently used" and found these shoes ultra comfy and easy for trail walking with my dogs. I bought a new pair from this online store and wear them to work to break them in. They're definitely attention-getters. I work as a caregiver for several elderly but mobile women and they are still wearing shoes that bind their feet. I stopped with that nonsense years ago with running shoes, but it wasn't enough to keep my toes from staying scrunched together. The Peluvas and toe socks help keep my toes wiggling freely and now it's much easier to stretch them out. I plan to purchase more pairs in different colors.
Women’s Strand ATRLove the color but didn't relize the sole was so firm. So I ended up with doing a exchange for a different style and softer sole. Otherwise this style itself is durable.. cute... as well as relief of anxiety about shoes.. as in a standard shoe my feet would feel trapped which led me to disliking both shoes and socks as I feel more free when I am barefoot and when I tried these on I was walking around inside the house and would go from 9am to bedtime 930 10 ish pm forgetting that I had shoes on till I went to get ready for bed🙃 I am very thankful to have found a tennis shoe I could wear and still allow my feet to feel free and not trapped in a shoe... as in reality if you need to run a errand its against the law to drive barefoot as well as against store policy to walk around public buildings barefoot 🙃 they are even comfortable to wear on the motorcycle. The first foot Pic of my right foot was before I tried paluva shoes as you can see swelling and angled or more curved toes... the one of my left foot is after just the trial period but about a week or so and already my foot doesn't swell and my toes began to straighten to there national position.❤️ Now I was at a craft store over hear another adult woman mention how odd and weird my shoes were i just ignored and didn't respond and her teen daughter about 16/17 looked at her mom and said mom its a style and as I kept to myself it made my heart feel joyful knowing not everyone judges out feet and what we wear..... but others do notice our shoe appearance 🙃🙃🙃
Beautiful in the lavender color. Probably didn't need the larger size (9 instead of previously 8.5). I believe the ATR sizes bigger than all the other pairs of Peluvas I got. My favorite pair so far. They still wear out fast. My previous ATR shoes got wholes in soles at the ball of the feet after a 10 miles hike on gravely trail, which makes them expensive to replace that fast. Still best out there on the market presently.
Women’s Strand ATRMY REASON FOR TRYING PELUVAS: When I used to walk barefoot on hard ground, my heels and balls of my feet would turn white and go numb, and I’d also get a sharp pain in the ball of my right foot. I’m fairly holistic and believe most ailments can be fixed naturally (I.e. we don’t naturally walk around all day with a custom-fit orthotic and 2 inch cushioned soles under our feet), so these minimalist barefoot shoes piqued my interest. MY HONEST REVIEW: Days 1-3: (12 hour shifts in healthcare) The pain in my right foot was more noticeable than before (from a 2/10 before Peluvas to a 4/10 pain level at certain points in the day). Days 4+: I had almost ZERO pain by day 4. Since then I’ve had no issues with my feet even when walking barefoot, meaning the shoes have helped correct imbalances in my feet permanently, not just when wearing the shoes. ADDITIONAL INFO: *I wear a size 7.5 in regular shoes and bought a size 8 Peluvas which fit perfectly. *I usually need a wide-fit shoe but these Peluvas fit me well and give me no problems in the width. *Be prepared to never feel the same in your old shoes again. The few times I’ve worn my old sneakers since, my toes feel restricted, my heels are too elevated, there’s pressure in random spots on my foot. The worst part is that when I try to run in my old shoes, I seem to roll my ankles a lot. I just don’t feel stable and grounded like I do in my Peluvas. *P.S. I NEVER write reviews, but these shoes have quite literally changed how I view navigating the world on foot. Being barefoot is refreshing for me now, not painful. And when it’s necessary to wear shoes, I wear Peluvas.
