Comfy
The pink was a lot more fuschia and less salmon-y than I thought it would be from the photos, but I’m okay with that. My feet are 24.5-24.8 cm long and 10.5 cm wide, and the Peluva 9.5 size was a decent fit. Not wide enough but the cloth gives way enough to be comfortable. I am enjoying working my toes, how grippy they are, and was surprised that the stack height feels great, as I normally prefer a more minimalist feel. I would love more choices in terms of width and stack height. I would also love a cotton or canvas option for a more natural feel. Overall, though, very comfy, I’m glad I purchased them, and they’re now my everyday shoes.
Loved this shoe. Great fit. My feet were protected as I went on my 3 mile outdoors walk. Too early to tell if my knees will feel better because of these minimalist shoes.
I love these shoes!!! I was concerned about the size. They recommend half size bigger. I have 1 pair of running shoes at 7.5 and another at 8. But then I did the AI and it recommended 8.5 so I took the chance and the AI was right! My pinkie toe barely makes it in its spot but my big toe practically goes to the end. When I first got them I wore them most of the day indoors. I haven’t ran with them yet but I wear them to walk my Shih Tzu or other walks and I absolutely love them!!! I am considering getting another pair as slippers for indoors. FYI have you thought of making slippers for indoors??? As a stay at home mom I wear slippers more often than I wear shoes.
I’ve hiked and walked a lot since I bought them. Love them and the traction going down hill is exception. I’m mid 70s and have finally found my favorite shoes. I’ve worn minimalist shoes for years for jogging at my gym but mostly wear flip flops.
I’m sooo happy. Going on a hiking trip with them next week!
I really am excited about the SMALL size socks because they were out when I ordered?! Coming soooon I hope.
It’s super comfy and I love the toe separation to reinforce our human toe splay! It’s a great option for new barefooters or seasoned barefoot shoe lovers!
My Xeros were worn and it was time for a new pair. I wanted to try these shoes since I read a bit about how I might need just a little bit more cushion for the concrete running. These fit the bill! They are wider than Xeros in the way that the toes can feel spread in their natural position. I can also STILL feel enough of the ground despite the light cushion, which is epic. I put them on straight out of the box at the post office in excitement and walked 2 miles. Now, note that my feet are already used to my other shoes so I didn't need a break in, but this increased my comfort even more since my toes have more spread space than my old shoes! And they're more snug so I easily forget they're on after a while. Though I was wondering if people would say anything; they didn't even notice lol. Plus, I was prepared to revise in my head that they love my new shoes if they did. I just strut happily anyways. I checked myself out in the mirror, and I can see why! They're actually super cuuute and look awesome! Not weird at all, imo at least. Anyways, Other things to note: The toes can flex up easily, but not down into a "toe point" due to the sole. But this is fully unnecessary anyways;, you don't need that for running walking-- maybe just stretching. I suggest Tighten the laces so it hugs all around and you'll forget they're on. Also, pleeease BUY TOE SOCKS. Invest in a few pairs so you don't need to worry bout sweat and don't have stinky feet to keep weird stereotypes going. Next, The sizing paper camera thing on this website works epically for sizing. Fits perfect. Alternatively, if you came from Xeros, your size would be exactly the old original "HFS" style size shoe (that said size up half). I would definitely recommend and plan to buy more in the future! Super pleased!!
I'm loving these shoes. I couldn't have imagined how comfortable they were. It took about 3 wears for the toes to become easy to slide in. I walk many miles in these every day! I noticed that when I switched to these this past week from a popular brand with LOTS of cushioning, my knee doesn't tweak when I climb hills anymore. I sincerely hope my balance and joints will continue to improve, but for now, I'm hooked! I imagine this is the first of many pairs I will ultimately own.
Went on my 1st hike today 3 miles, and loved my shoes.. the fit felt good except since I didn't have socks on received a blister on my left heel.
Hope your socks come back in stock soon!
Love everything about them minus the material. The polyester makes my feet sweat like crazy!! Would love to have a wool or leather variety and wouldn’t mind the extra cost…
After trying so many brands of "wide toe box" shoes and shoes that give me what I need for working out, the Peluva is the best. My feet feel free, to do what they need without restriction while I beat my feet up during workouts.
I want to switch all my shoes to "toe"shoes. They're so amazing, I convinced my husband to buy some
Ugly but so so so DAMN worth it. (if you have long toes like me you might need a whole size up)
Look, not going to lie they're not that cute, someone said they look the shoes Ninja turtles would wear and I now I cannot SEE anything but Ninja turtles when I look down; THAT BEING SAID, still the best shoes I've ever worn to the point where someone who is a vain as me will still rock them like they're latest trend just because of how much improvement there has been!!
Not only is my posture better, but I also have so much more balance than before, I used to fall and lose my stamina all the time for various reasons e.g. childbirth left my hips too wide, beating brain cancer ate away at my physical strength especially in my legs which was limiting my other activities such as dancing, roller skating, biking, even basic walking was becoming too painful etc etc.
but the other day I was on my long walk with my Peluvas on and tripped on a brick that was out of place and normally I would've fallen face first on the ground with another bruise or cut to tell a story about HOWEVER my foot caught my fall! I was so stunned that I actually wasnt injured and that my leg was strong enough to hold me up that I was pissed no one around me saw it because it was the coolest. (to me)
Any way love these shoes and will probably be needing a new pair soon because of how much Im wearing them!
I have just begun wearing them. At first, I just wore them around the house a little bit at a time as recommended. I have a pretty messed up left foot from years of running so to try and put my foot in a shoe that is going to reshape it back to normal (over time), is not easy. It is painful but I noticed that after wearing them yesterday for quite some time, the ache in that foot subsided. I am hopeful that the more I wear them the better it will get. I think they are cool looking and I am proud to wear them. It feels freeing. I actually walked 2 miles in them last night. It was great.
I bought this to see if it'll help with my foot issue. I have weakness to my whole right side due to an aneurysm. I have a drop foot and also suffers from feet bunion. Due to this, I am unable to train my legs correctly. I cannot feel my right foot. I decided to use this because of my bunion. My toes always sit on top of the other toe. This shoes prevents that from happening. Though it's not a fix to the bunion problem, it helps with the pain. So far so good. It's comfortable. Just remember to wear or get yourself toe socks.
I enjoy wearing the shoes, and I have already bought a second pair. I like the feel of using my toes more, and allowing them to play a part in my gait.
I have some bone spurs on the right side of the foot, that are minor right now. So, I am easing into Peluva shoes, gradually.
Once I got the correct size they were extremely comfortable. First time with toe type fitness shoes and loved the splay and just enough cushion for running. I am used to minimal ground feel for lifting but these are great if I need cushion for running, or long walks. Please include the toe socks!
Waiting for black & more styles to come back in stock.
These shoes are really nice looking, and they fit very well. I followed the instructions and felt very comfortable walking around the house the first few times I put them on.
