Perfect!
See my prior lengthy review. Love this footwear!
Got them for walking, trail walking, hiking and work on my personal farm. I feel like they have assisted in correcting my alignment while walking.
Learning curve on getting them on at first, took me a few tries. I’ve got it down now.
Thanks, Ellyn! We love hearing how your Strand ATRs are helping with alignment and holding up for all your adventures! Glad the learning curve paid off!

Love my new Peluva Strand ATR shoes
I recently bruised my heel and was in tremendous pain, even using crutches to get around. While searching online for the MOST comfortable shoes, with the MOST cushion (because I never wanted to injure my heel like that again), I came across a video regarding barefoot shoes, and specifically Peluvas. I began listening to several videos regarding the importance of barefoot/minimalist shoes. So, I ordered my first pair of ATR’s. I had to send them back for a full size larger because I did not size up as so many had recommended.
I have now worn my Peluvas for 3 days and I can say that I absolutely love them! There have been times when I forgot that I had them on and went to put on shoes! They are that comfortable! They feel so natural but yet my feet are completely protected in them.
I have not used them yet for cardio, as my heel is still healing, but I hope to in the near future.
I’m now telling my friends and family about them because I love them so much.
Thanks for sharing your experience, Lisa! We’re so happy the Strand ATRs are helping your recovery journey. It’s amazing to hear they’ve brought you so much comfort and a natural feel. That's exactly what we strive for! Wishing you a smooth and speedy recovery, and thanks for spreading the word!

So comfortable
I initially ordered a half size bigger and it was too big so I sent them back and got a size 8 and the fit is perfect. It takes time at first to get these on because of the toe pockets but over time it should get easier.
I wondered how the first day would go with having had previous foot issues and trying to prevent them from becoming painful. The first day has been great! Can't wait to see how this effects the rest of my body. The recommended size up by 1/2 size is definitely needed
The ATR’s are great. I’ve been on a couple hikes and they have been very nice. Just enough tread to smooth out the rocks and light enough my feet aren’t sweaty and heavy. They’re not water resistant though. I thought they were but they definitely are not. Over all a good hiking shoe.
I have had 3 other pairs of Peluvas and this pair I had to go a complete size bigger. The shoes are very comfortable and I’m looking forward to hiking with them.
I’ve recently been on the hunt for a shoe to wear for 10hr shifts in medical field. I have bunions at 30- hereditary- and have been wearing toe spacers at night. I lather my feet in CBD oil at night. Ibuprofen. I’ve tried every shoe you can think of. When I tell you it only took a day to notice a difference in my feet and body I am not lying. I felt no pain in my feet after my first 10hr shift in these. I even felt my back and hip pain lessen as my body adjusted to walking appropriately. I will be buying many more pairs! I love the white as they are very aesthetically pleasing and go with many outfits too! I did have to return and size up 1/2 a size as feet are sized differently when all your toes aren’t squished together :)
I receive the shoes 2 weeks ago. The first week I wore them around the house. Last week I thought I would give them a spin with work. I am a physical therapist assistant in home health so I am around on differing terrains all day. I must say I was impressed! They were comfortable all day. I felt as if I was barefoot but still had the cushioning enough to walk over rocks with ease.
I noticed after the first couple of days of wearing them for work that Amy legs did not hurt as they usually have with other shoes. This was quite surprising due to the fact that I have spinal stenosis the back of my legs generally hurt to some extent every day. Fingers crossed that this results continues.
My left foot pronates so I thought I would have issue with these being so flat but so far that has not happened. I can tell after having worn them for extended periods of time that my toes, especially left foot seem more flexible especially my great toe which was becoming pretty stiff.
So far they are a win/win.
I will be buying another pair!
I love these sneakers!! I have the Carrie ST,so it was nice to add another pair to my collection. The strand is very comfortable and love them for my lower body strength sessions as well as my weighted vest walks.
Love these shoes and helps my feet become stronger. No constriction all the around my feet, unlike other mass produced shoes! Love them so much I wear them daily.
Thanks, Kim! We're so happy to hear the Strand ATRs were a perfect fit right away. Enjoy picking out your next colors!

Easier than I thought
Been wearing the shoes for a week and so far, so good. I'm not having any issues separating my toes any more. They do run about a size small, so make sure to use the sizing tool. Fortunately, Peluva has a great and easy exchange/return policy.
Thanks for the feedback! We're glad the adjustment is going smoothly and that the sizing tool and exchange process helped. Appreciate your support!

I have never worn toe shoes before so it’s taking a little bit to get used to putting them on and walking in them, but so far they’ve been great! I hike a lot for my job on the trails and these have provided me with enough cushion and yet I can still feel the ground beneath me. I was worried that my feet would hurt while adjusting to a new shoe but they havent hurt one bit!
