I bought these trying to find a comfortable shoe for my weird feet. I usually wear barefoot zero drop shoes with some success, but lately those were starting to hurt me. From the very first moment of putting these shoes on I was in heaven. I wore them for a week and couldn’t get over how great my feet felt (first time in years). I turned around and bought another pair as fast as I could (just in case y’all stopped making them. lol). I’m already looking at getting another pair and I haven’t even received my second pair yet. Can’t recommend these enough! Thank you Peluva!

My first pair of "toe" shoes
They are very comfortable. I'm still learning tricks on how to put them on.
Response from Peluva
Thanks for sharing, Rose! We're glad to hear your first pair of toe shoes are feeling comfortable. It definitely takes a little practice at first. Guiding each toe in and wearing toe socks can help make it easier. Enjoy your new Peluvas!

Women's Lightweight Trainer
A little difficult at first to get the socks and shoes on but once on... very comfortable. I've worn them around the house the past few days just getting used to them. Looking forward increasing my time in them but so far so good!

Best sneaker ever!
First time trying 5 toed shoes and they are my all time favorite shoe ever! I’ve been wearing them in the house and for indoor workouts, including weight lifting, yoga and re-bounding. I have a pretty decent bunion on one foot and these shoes work great and are so comfortable. Going to buy another pair to have as my outdoor shoes. I wasn’t sure on size so I used the online sizer offered on the website and it gave me a perfect fit!
Response from Peluva
That’s wonderful to hear, Heidi! We’re so glad the Strand Lightweight Trainer has become your favorite and is working well for your workouts and foot comfort. Thanks for trusting Peluva!

My hips don’t lie!
Love to wear everywhere I can, but the insides seem to be wearing out after only three weeks. I can enjoy my short walks, because my hips don’t ache and my body feels aligned. My tips of toes feel sore after long walks, so I will need to go up in size for the next pair.

Obsessed
I’m obsessed!!!! I workout a lot and I’m so grateful to find shoes that work great with me while I exercise. These shoes are wonderful for every activity. My husband surprised me with these and I’m was so excited!!! The hype is real. Very comfortable, breathable and adds some spice to your workout attire with the unique look.
You guys did your big one with these shoes.

So comfortable!
These shoes fit like a glove and are so lightweight and comfortable! I have been wearing minimalist shoes for a while now, so my toes slid right in place. They have the perfect amount of cushion for me to still have ground feel while not being bruised by the sharp gravel in my driveway. The digital picture sizing tool worked well to confirm the right size to start. My teens are embarrassed by their mom wearing toe shoes, but I love them!
Response from Peluva
Thanks for sharing, Myra! We're so happy the Strand Lightweight Trainer is giving you the perfect balance of cushion and ground feel. And don’t worry about the teens, you’re leading the way in foot health!

Total Game Changer
Not a fan of how toe shoes look, but I absolutely love the way these feel on my feet. The type of fabric used is durable yet breathable and they feel like you’re wearing comfortable socks. They are light weight and don’t rub between your toes. My feet don’t hurt after walking miles outside in them and I even use them when I’m on the elliptical machine, treadmill and when doing squats on leg day which has helped my balance tremendously on my one legged squats. I don’t think I’ll ever go back to traditional tennis shoes again for my workouts.
Response from Peluva
Thanks for the incredible feedback, Christina! We’re so glad the Strand Lightweight Trainer has made such a difference in your workouts and comfort. It’s awesome to hear how they’re supporting your balance and performance, exactly what they're designed for!

Perfection
These are definitely not my cutest shoes but they are hands down the most comfortable. I have not had any heel pain or arch pain since I started wearing them. I’m slowly getting brave enough to wear them outside of my neighborhood ! Getting toe socks was something I didn’t think about when I ordered them but they are a must have for sweaty feet.
Response from Peluva
Thanks for the honest and helpful feedback, Karen! We’re so glad the Strand Lightweight Trainer is easing your heel and arch pain. And yes, toe socks definitely make a big difference, especially for all-day comfort!

Great for extra wide feet!
I wear a 2E width & have bunions so typical wide width athletic shoes squeezed my toes together in the toe box. I'd been curious about minimalist shoes and after a lot of research I decided to try Peluva. I no longer have foot pain, my squat depth is improved at the gym, and the shoes are great quality. I like them so much that I bought two more pairs. 👣
Response from Peluva
Thanks for the amazing feedback, Karen! We're so glad the Strand Lightweight Trainer is working well for your wide feet and helping with both pain relief and performance. Appreciate your support, and love that you came back for more!

Size and style matter
First this is my second pair of Peluva shoes which BOTH are now more comfortable than standard shoes. I usually wear a 6.5 women's standard shoe. My Peluva lite trainers are an 8. My other pair are the Miami casual Peluva shoes in a 7.5. I was comfortable in my Miami loafers but the trainer's more flexible outer fabric is way more comfortable. Getting that half size more allowed for my toe flexions both up and down to be unrestricted. It could be the combo of the half size AND the fabric. I wish there were more BOLD colors rather than soft pastels. My 7 month old Miami loafers are going strong (given the standard price, I want them to) so I'm sure these trainers will be just as durable. The anniversary sale really motivated me to jump on getting another pair sooner than I would have otherwise. New bold colors I would buy a well. Highly recommend this entire brand, not just this style.
I discovered these shoes on IG movementbydavid if there is a way to give commission retroactively.
Response from Peluva
Thanks for the thoughtful and detailed feedback, Summer! We're so glad both pairs are working well for you and that the sizing adjustment made a difference. Noted on the bold color request, we’ll pass that along! And we appreciate the @movementbydavid shoutout too. Thanks for being part of the Peluva community!

A learning curve required but highly recommend them!
After watching Chalene Johnson’s YouTube episode about walking/workout shoes and her new favs Peluvas, I ordered a pair. It took several tries to get the right fit. I wear a shoe size 7, so ordered a 7-1/2 the first time. Had to exchange them for an 8. Received them and found that the big toe was still too snug though the rest of the shoe felt perfect. SO, I exchanged those for an 8-1/2 . The morning after receiving them, I put them on, and decided I was never taking them off! I may even sleep in them I thought. Here is the thing , I first put them on without socks and found that the big toe did not have as much room at the tip as the rest of the toes, but I think a larger size would cause the rest of the shoe to be too loose. The back of the shoe (the Achilles heel area) felt a bit too high up and was rubbing that area which was quite uncomfortable. However, I was able to remedy that problem easily with socks. Here is what I did: I had previously ordered one pair of the Peluva toe socks which are thin. SO (and this idea came from Chalene), I put one toe sock on then put a regular sock over it, figured out where I thought I should cut, removed the regular sock then cut that top area off and put them back on over the toe socks. It is working perfectly. Very snug and soft. I will try to post a pic here. I then walked outside for a couple thousand steps and they felt great. It could be my imagination, but I could swear my posture was better🤷♀️. So, bottom line is, I would definitely suggest at least 1-1/2 sizes larger than your normal shoe size. I’ve walked everyday since I received them a couple wks ago. I have less ankle and knee pain with this shoe and I expect that will continue to improve. I feel stronger when walking in them. Easier to push off and feel more balanced. I’m up to 10-11,000 steps per day and feel my feet ankles and legs getting stronger. I highly recommend them. Be patient determining the right size and get plenty toe socks.! Enjoy!

Skeptical but pleased
I was very skeptical about buying these shoes. After wearing them now for a week, I can say they are very comfortable and I'm pleased. I am only using them around the house and for errands and am enjoying a greater feel for the floor and ground. I remain skeptical about relying on them as sturdy and safe shoes for long weighted-vest-walks, running, hiking or for working out. I think I still prefer a more supportive shoe for those activities.
I have some foot deformities - bunions and pinky toes that cross over the 4th toe. I am unable to splay my toes out and apart. That said, I appreciate the individual toe slots with these shoes and my toes feel happy.
I highly suggest using their sizing system before selecting your purchase. I wear a women's size 7 - 7.5 but measured a size 8.5 for these. I indeed bought the 8.5 and they are perfect for me. I bought a size small for the socks which are also perfect for me.
Overall, I am happy and recommend these shoes. As a personal choice, I'm just not ready to wear them when I need real shoe support for strenuous activities.
Response from Peluva
Thanks for the thoughtful review, Adrienne! We're glad to hear the Strand Lightweight Trainer is comfortable and working well for daily wear. Totally understandable to prefer more structured support for intense activities, especially with foot sensitivities. Sounds like you made a great call on sizing too. We appreciate your honest feedback and support!

These shoes were great, right out of the box. A little challenging to get my toes in the right places, but it gets easier each time I put them on.
