I ordered these shoes to workout in since I have planners fasciitis and my old shoes hurt my feet. so glad I ordered my Peluva , no more pain.. like them so much I ordered another pair to wear everyday.. Thank you.
Alwats had my eyes on peluva. These pair been wearing for the past 3 weeks while I do my variable resistance workout 4 times a week. Already can see ny toes spreading on their own. Awesome stuff. Looking to get a pair for running. I have a 5k run on pavement wondering which peluva fits the bill.
The red shoes are more comfortable than the black
Love the fit can’t wait to use it at the gym
Fit well and they are comfortable just my right pinky toe has some slight irritation. I’m still in the break in period though.
Once you get them on, they are very comfortable. Used them for a trade show all day.
Sorry this was not sooner, but since these were an exchange, thank you, and I had previously relegated I would be on vacation most of the month of February. I’m just finally home and able to give the half size larger from 8.5s to 9.0. And I’m happy to say, these are wonderful, I knew my left foot was larger and always try it on first when fitting shoes. But was not aware it actually is the 2nd toe or index toe that was what was making that foot bigger. Now that toe fits fine in the 9.0 size. I’m looking forward to getting them warn in and love them so far. Thank you Dave
The shoes are great. I love them. They’re exactly what I thought and more.
My husband loves to be barefoot. Ever since he was young, he has hated the standard shoe (AKA foot prison, as I not-so-jokingly refer to them as, on his behalf). So, I scraped together some money to get him his first pair of barefoot shoes, which I ended up choosing this model. Needless to say, he loves them! And I'm very happy with my purchase. He wears them to work, now, as I intended for them to be inconspicuous enough (the all-black kind) to not be too noticeable unless you were looking directly at his feet. But that plan has largely failed, as, I've learned he brings them up to his customers and coworkers simply because he adores them so. Also, I went a size and a half up from his shoe size, as the sizing chart suggests, and I do believe they fit perfectly as described.
never had a pair of toe-shoes before but my feet and body be hurting due to my slightly physically demanding job so i try to wear my peluva toe-shoes outside of work whenever i can and it makes a noticeable difference. in general i just tell people i feel better when i wear them but what makes me feel better when i think of it is how it kinda helps correct my lower back and hips a bit more. i'm not talking from a researched viewpoint, just what i notice when i wear them, but it's probably because all my life i have felt like shoes have just kinda hurt me in a sense starting from the bottom leading to the top. i could keep talking but that should suffice lol.
I love these shoes, they're so comfy and fun to wear.
A little hard to get on at first, wore them to the gym a couple times so far, I think I'm going to like them
These toe shoes do exactly what they say they do and more. Very comfortable fitting for the toes to go into. Takes some getting used to at first. With the smaller size of 9 1/2 there is only slight gap at the end. But I don’t mind them being slightly open. My toes still fit into all the slots and it spaces them out allowing for more grounded movement during my workouts. Especially on leg days when doing lunges. Being able to spread each individual toe as I move is making a huge difference in my balance and ankle muscles mobility. Which I strive to be consistent with. These toe shoes are helping in many ways! Very satisfied with the purchase. May even buy a second different pair down the line.
These shoes are the most comfortable and well grounded shoes I have ever owned. I love going barefoot around the house. These shoes feel like I'm going barefoot everywhere - inside, outside, everywhere I go! Love them!! I'm going to get another pair in a different color!
Great shoes
Very comfortable; after get them broke in, they feel amazing.
95% of the time I've worn shoes over the past 16 years they have been Vibram Five-finger shoes with 2-4mm of "cushion". At one point I had 30 pair! As a dog groomer, I stand for hours at a time, sometimes on hard surfaces. This was never a problem until recently. At 60 years old, my plantar fascia (the thick, fibrous, and inelastic connective tissue on the sole of the foot that extends from the heel bone to the toes) has been causing me a lot of pain by the end of a workday. My new Strand Sport Mesh (SMM) allow me to keep the shoe form I've become accustomed to with 9mm of cushion giving my tired feet some much needed relief! If you are already used to the form-fitting design of VFF it's easy to switch to Peluva. They are slightly bulkier/stiffer than VFF, but are still lightweight and provide some ground feel. I normally wear an EU43 in VFF so I opted for a US size 10. With socks the SSM fit okay, but are a tiny bit large. If I push my toes fully forward there is a little bit of space at the heal. I think that's because the Peluva shoe has a bit more structure to it where as VFF is more elastic and hug the foot. Without socks, or with super thin socks, the SSM would be too big for me. I might try a US 9.5 for my next pair. The only concern I have is the durability of the nylon(?) eyelets of the SSM. I worry that the sawing action of tightening the laces may wear them out prematurely. Time will tell. I prefer the standard hole punch eyelets of the Strand ATR.
Feel great. Tread run and squatting, great balance and comfort. 3rd pair of Peluvas. Please make navy blue!
I've wanted to try toe shoes for years; however, was sure I wouldn't be able to get my right foot in (4 toes are pinned straight, big toe drastically crooked, and overlapping toes). The first day I had to force the shoe on while wearing toe spreaders, but after that, it improved every day. My feet will never be perfect, but after the first month there was so much improvement in flexibility, and a sharp reduction in pain. They're honestly the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn (I have these and the trail shoes)... I forsee myself being a long term customer!
I've been wearing "toe shoes" for years and these don't disappoint. They're comfortable and the fit is actually amazing! Great product!
I really dig these! I particularly like the traditional shoelaces with this pair of Peluvas as well imparted to the first pair that I bought, which had the stretchy pull laces. I replaced the laces of that first pair with traditional laces finding they now work much better. I am a retired Navy SEAL with significant back-injury-induced neuropathy impacting my past ability to speak my toes naturally. The traditional laces allow me to open my Peluvas more widely making it easier for me to line my toes up with the individual toe slots. I am a past life longtime triathlete, distance runner, etc. now doing mostly Nordic walking and swimming for aerobic activity (long story). I now wear pretty much exclusively Peluvas for all physical activities requiring shoes. Peluva seem to me to really get it right offering a minimalist shoe feel with just the right amount of support along with the toe-separating option! I am about to order a couple more pairs as well as the suede desert boots. For what it is worth, people notice and athletic sorts of people are asking questions. So, I am blowing you up. Also, I plan to snag a pair for my wife to see whether she finds them as ideal as do I. Personally, I would like to see heel pull loops on all the shoes. Here’s to Peluva — cheers👣🕶️♾️ PS: the attached pic shows my original pair of Peluvas and my initial shoe string mod for easier access😎
They really fit my feet and are very comfortable. Can't wait to do some walking as winter ends.
This is my second pair of Peluvas that I have purchased in the last two years and I am beyond impressed by them. I am Very active on a daily basis as far as working out and walking goes. I have other barefoot shoes that I wear at times but my feet start to hurt. I love these shoes besides the price but you get what you pay for and with these shoes I wear them everyday and it’s worth the 1-2 times a year purchase. I also love mark sisson and what he does and has done for health and fitness along with primal Kitchen so he sold me there. Highly recommended. Mike
