I bought a pair of Peluva Strand Lightweight trainers last year and proceeded to break them in, I thought they took a little getting used to, and yes they ran a little small, which was unfortunate. And they didn’t ship them to me in Scotland (they only go to the USA, folks! So make sure if you’re from anywhere else that you know someone in the US to send them to you!)
Anyway. I loved them. I wore them every day, for walking (I had torn my ACL, MCL and Meniscus in my right knee playing rugby, and could barely walk - I heard about barefoot shoes for walking and eventually running to help fix injuries) then I started a running challenge, where I ran a minimum of 5km every single day for 50 days. The challenge ended up going to 111 days, and I ran over 700km in that time. Insane for a single pair of shoes. Need new pair now because I ran holes into the bottom. But they have served me well, and I can only hope Peluva can start to ship to the UK! I can’t go back to regular running shoes now! No way. These helped with knee pain, posture issues, weight. They’re awesome.

Amazing Shoes!
I've had my Peluva Strands for about 6 months now. I walk about 12-15 miles daily on concrete, so I curious to see how well they would hold up. So far, so good! I'd say they still have about 70-75% life left! Getting ready to order my next pair very soon!

I have worn this type of shoe by a different maker. I find these to be a bit more comfortable than the other. I ordered my true size at first, but my second pair I ordered a 1/2 size larger. The larger size gave a little more room up front.
The advertisement said order above your true size. Both fit good.

Just what I needed!
These shoes are just what I needed for my gym workouts . They are comfortable and flexible, allowing me to grip the mats instead of sliding when trying to push or pull sleds. I do think parts of my feet are getting a workout, too.

Loving the space between my toes
So I decided to try your product because I wasn’t able to splay my toes and this was becoming an issue as standing on one leg requires a well balanced base (yoga brought this into focus). I started using my lightweight trainers to see if I could improve this. I am very happy to say that I’m really starting to see progress ( and space) between my toes. This may seem silly to some but not to me.
I would be remiss if I didn’t comment on the amazing customer service I received from the entire team with a special shoutout to Jana which I originally thought was an agentic AI agent but is a real person. She has been a major reason why I continued to push forward with this product as getting the correct fit was a bit tricky for me ( broken toes, bunions, etc). When you make a purchase where the only people you know that’s ever tried the product are the people selling it ,you don’t know what to expect. Maybe you’ll get some relief or maybe not. Well, I got to tell you I am pleasantly surprised on the instant relief from the pain of a bunion, bone on bone knee pain, and even relief from a baker cyst behind one of my knees. I wore them to the gym for the first time today for a leg workout. The balance that I had I haven’t felt in a while. I could feel my lower legs working like they should. That hasn’t been the case since I had a couple blood clots awhile back that caused ongoing circulation problems in my lower legs. When I wear the peluvas my balance is better, I move better, and feel better! Best shoe purchase I’ve made in a long time! I do wish all your shoes went up to size 16. I really can’t say enough good about these shoes. My feet have regained motion and flexibility! I have no more plantar fasciitis pain! My knees have stopped hurting (recovering from torn meniscus injury). My flat feet (no arch) now has a natural arch. My weak ankles have now become stronger and prevented injury.

Toe Shoes??!
They are awesome. Was a little worried about the fit, did the 1/2 size up and they ROCK! It took about a week to get use to the feel, but I can stand and move and lift all day at work without any trouble. Definitely will want to get more in the future. Also the look isn’t weird, most of my patients don’t even notice they are toe shoes until I point them out haha.
