They feel so natural to walk in. Obviously they don't feel like bare feet, but it's pretty close. I don't feel the constant pressure on my heel like I do in other shoes. When I do put on my old shoes, they feel weird and uncomfortable. It's only been over a week, but I love them. You will get stares and funny faces when people, especially people you know, notice them. But I see it as a conversation starter.
Love the shoes. Great feel and I love the freedom my toes have not being bunched up in the toe box.
Didn’t take long for my feet to adject to it it’s feel great to walk in I will be buying another every day pair soon in the gym or walking around outside you feel everything but not in a bad way and when you at the gym hitting different workouts it’s feel natural and make you feel like you can run very fast
I decided to buy Peluva's Men's Strand ATR in March 2026 after incurring few injuries from a very strenuous hiking trip wearing a brand new typical hiking shoe. After fully recovered from the injuries I wanted a shoe where my toes stay separate during my entirety of walk or hiking. I stumbled upon the Peluva's TV ad and decided to try their shoe. After I bought them I want walking 3 times so far on 5 miles in a paved trail. I think it's a keeper and enjoy wearing this new type of shoe. Yes getting each toes into the shoe 1st was bit difficult as I have worn typical shoes for so many years. Peluva's vdo on how to wear their shoe was helpful. I am now getting little better everytime to get the shoes on my foot. Thanks for your unique product.
My feet are healthier and happier after using these Strand ATRs every day while walking my dogs in the desert. In the last 9 months, I've bought 3 pairs, and they are all still in great shape. I prefer the ATR's to the Mesh model, but all are worth changing from traditional athletic trainers.
Fit? Great! Mobility? Not a problem! I feel grounded when wearing them.

Since I started wearing this, I've had alot of foot and leg pain lessen. Like I have a heel bone spur that every morning hurt so bad I could walk. And was in a medical boot for a week before I start wearing these . There still a dull ach over the spot. But no crippling pain. My muscle in my legs feel tired like you've walked a marathon but not not achy. Can't wait to get another pair.
Doesn't fit, not as pliable as i thought either
I received my Strand ATRs just before leaving for 2 back-to-back Las Vegas conventions. I logged between 10,000 and 14,000 steps a day for 5 straight days. I live Peluvas. They are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. I now have 5 pairs.
I have been enjoying them so far. The only thing which is not their fault is i might need a bigger size. Now that my toes have room to move and stretch they are touching the front.
I was skeptical when I first received these shoes especially when I put them on and they felt so rough in between my toes. It felt like there was a seem in between every toes that was just going to rub my feet raw and cause more pain than anything. I decided to not wear them and instead ordered 3 pair of the 5 toe socks. Once the socks arrived I put the shoes on and went for my first workout. They still felt uncomfortable for the first15-20 minutes. After that I was used to moving around and didn’t think about them again. I have worn them for every workout since and find them very comfortable to walk and move around in. They are light weight and I especially like the little bit of cushion for the sole of the shoe. I have bad knees and one is a replacement so that cushion helps out and is more comfortable than having nothing between my feet and the ground. I am happy that I ordered a pair of these shoes and gave them a try. I will definitely order another pair at some point.
I've had them for a week and I've got 12 miles on them. Still in great shape!
First pair of Peluvas and couldn't be happier. I love the feel and in just a few days I already noticed a huge improvement.
I used now for all my hikes and immediately fell the difference, I was walking 18 miles and I was not tired…
I have a black pair and now this pair - these shoes are awesome. Super comfortable, great traction, great grip - I run, train, lift and run errands in these. Great quality, comfort and fit - be sure for guys to order up 1/2 size.
Great quality but had to exchange for a size down.
Love these shoes. The only problem i had was with getting the right size, the exchanges were smooth and quick. I've had mine now for about 3 weeks. Feet are stronger and has not gotten fatigued , thou week one my legs felt like we did a marathon. And the pain I was having from a heel spur rubbing my Achilles has about vanished. A little funny side note I had a student ask about my shoes and why they are called P.E. Luva. Will be getting another pair soon just need the choose which ones to get.

I have worn five-finger toes shoes almost exclusively for the past ten years. This is my first pair of Peluvas and I am completely sold on the brand. The fit is spot on. The quality is exceptional. And the comfort is next level.
