I have had toe shoes in the past and I must say that the quality of these are fantastic. They do give a very realistic feel while protecting your foot. I did have a difference as far as sizing. I did not find that I needed to go up a 1/2 of size.
Wrong size need return instruction
They fit great! Slightly too big but worked with customer service to get an another pair coming in.
The Strand ATR is an excellent addition to my collection of Peluvas adding to the unique comfort and feel lateral stability and traction that makes almost any surface or situation accessible! These work in the gym, on the trail, in casual wear situations, even on the tennis court.
Did not even get close to fitting soxs were childs size semtyfor a return and the kelp all the soxs and about 35.00 of the shoes that don’t even get close
Fit like a glove
Stellar shoes I was going half size up and no qualms with the sizing. Can’t wait until you make a natural based shoe that doesn’t have polyurethane is its main composite.
Loved as soon as I took my first step. I was cautious when I opened them, but they feel great and are very comfortable. Can feel the ground without feeling uncomfortable.
I am not yet sure if it was an advantage to going up half a size. On the website it says their shoes run small so to size up. Regular shoes I wear at 10 and a half so I went with 11. My big toe is pretty close to the end while my other toes are around halfway in. But I can tell you this one compared to the one with the lightweight mesh. My toes guide into the slots much more naturally and way quicker.
Loving them for my morning walks. Very comfortable great toebox for people with wide feet.
I have been on a “feet” first mission since diagnosed with Type II Diabetes (since completely reversed) back in 2020 because losing them was the first thought I had. That had me barefoot, Birkenstock, Keene’s - could not tolerate other shoes and the Birkenstock shoes (I have a few along with sandals) were ok for work events . The Peluva’s are next-level, as soon as I put them on and once I was past the break-in, had some minor toe rub, I won’t ever go back to regular shoes again. Thanks for making such a great common sense product.
I love them so far. I feel I need to try a size smaller to fit my foot a little more correctly. They do relieve me of constant pain in my feet. I will be using more of these shoes.
My last pair of minimalist shoes were Vibrams that I have used for about 10 years, these were a really nice upgrade. Much more durable. I did get a half size up instead of a full size, and like a lot of people say it feels tight at first . But after about my 6th or 7th time wearing them it became much easier (just my pesky pinky toe has is the issue!). Excellent shoes, easy to clean, feel great. Your foot will have to adjust and I still recommend switching out other shoes but overall very happy with this purchase.
I bought the loafer slip on versions previously and they had hard stitching on the inside that pressed into the toes making them very uncomfortable. I didn’t let that sway my opinion of the company and figured maybe I caught a raw deal on a bad pair. The strands atr definitely is a winner and even though I had trepidation made up for it big time. I been wearing them not stop after work for long walks with the family
I found these to be shockingly comfortable with how tight they feel around the heel and middle of the foot. But very open for the toes that balances it all out. I find this pair good for walking around the yard, and on dirt roads. Just make sure to keep them clean between the toes after taking them through the grass.
First, I'm generally a fan (early impressions) of this shoe! I have a slightly narrow, tapered foot (size 11), and initially ordered an 11.5 ATR, which turned out to be too large for me. After switching to an 11, I still found that my 3rd toe only went about half way into the toe pocket, and my 4th and 5th toes barely reached. Obviously, Peluva cannot conform to every foot shape. I just happen to fall a bit outside of the "normal range" that the shoe tries to meet. I have found that wearing toe socks provides a much more comfortable/secure feeling fit. Unfortunately, I suffered a serious achilles strain shortly after receiving the shoes (not related to the shoes!), but I look forward to seeing what they (and I) can do once I'm healed.
These things are already from day one show me where I'm weak in and help strengthen my feet and legs.
I’m replacing my daily shoes for Peluvas. This is my third pair of Peluva’s in 5 months. Over the year , I’ve tried a lot of different brand an shoes technologies but none brings more comfort than Peluva’s. The fit is consistent, comfortable easy to clean. I have supination and Peluva is the shoes that helps me the most. Most shoes tend to get compressed and my ankles ended even more bent. The mesh material dries really quick. The down side with Peluva’s is that they are slippery when it’s wet.
While the first few days are a bit rough, figuring out how to put them on with ease, some pain from using them, etc. after the fact you feel something working. Feet sore but not quite pain. Now after a few weeks my toes are correcting visibly. I can walk with the shoes all day and dont really feel to bad. Now I can say hiking with some elevation change down to a river did a number on my ankles though he shoes were helping me keep grip better than a normal shoe. Over all your milage may vary but these are work for me great into the day to day flow as ling as you dont have really bad malformations like or your toes or fot pads.

Amazing shoe. Probably the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. They do wear out pretty fast, I wish the design was a bit more higher quality on the exterior.
Bought my first pair in Nov 2025 and loved them so much that I bought a second pair of Strand ATR as well as a pair of Casual shoes about a month ago. Now I will say, which pair to buy depends on your lifestyle and your purpose for buying Peluvas. I chose these because I was looking for a pair with a little addition cushion to use on runs, hikes and walks, and also in the gym. I ended up loving them so much that I wore them as daily use sneakers as well while running errands or stepping out for social events. As someone who’s spent the past 20years wearing arch support insoles in all my shoes, I’ve seen physical benefits by wearing my Peluvas on a daily basis. I find my arches activate better when I’m completely bare foot, I’ve felt my feet ankles and calves get stronger and I also found benefits spread to my overall posture. One note on choosing Peluvas vs other closed toed shoes (barefoot or regular): there’s definitely some situations where having each toe separate can catch you by surprise and you may want to exercise more discretion or caution. For example I have run into situations where one toe can get a little more snagged, on uneven terrain or under doors. It may sound silly but it’s a situation our bodies may not instinctively prepare for if we’re not used to being barefoot in those environments. Just something to keep in mind when thinking about where you want to incorporate Peluvas into your life. And if youre worried about standing out cause of the five toe look, I’ll just say that I’ve actually ended up making friends and even joining a run club because people noticed my shoes and struck up conversation!
