They feel great and my feet are feeling better already!
The comfort is amazing and the natural toe splay is like my feet toes prayer answered. I give it 5 stars cause I think it will help people transition to the natural feel. I unfortunately ordered half a size too small for what I use it for. I'm hoping an exchange isn't difficult so I can fill in the shoe properly and lead a stronger life.
They're ok
On my initial purchase, I got my standard shoe size only to find that my toes hit the inside front of the shoe. I did an exchange to go half a size up, and they got the ball rolling on the new pair as soon as they saw the original shoes had been dropped off at UPS for return. I got the new pair quickly, and they fit wonderfully! I do wish it felt a little more cushioned than it does, as it's been incredibly difficult to find toe shoes that are okay on pavement due to most of them being minimalist with very thin soles. Regardless, I would definitely recommend these shoes to others!
Not for me
Put toe spacers on the most basic shoe and suddenly they are $150... these shoes are the cheapest Chinese made shoes money can buy. Guarantee they cost less that $30 to make.
Been looking for a side hoe that can support me living my life on concrete, tar, and tile for a while now and this is it. There's enough to the sole so you can walk around without hurting your knees. Little rant here, but these wide toe box shoe companies should know I'm not going to quit my corporate job and love in the woods because I found out my feet are misshapen. They're good looking for toe shoes, but they are toe shoes so they're going to look a little silly just because the toes are individually wrapped. They also take a bit to get used to if your feet are used to being cramped together, but that kind of accelerates the process of toes pointing straight rather than layering on top of each other without needing to cut off circulation like using just the toe seperators since these have their own structure. Definitely a good shoe, if your toes are absolutely stacked on top of each other this will be very uncomfortable for quite a while, for people who have just a slight indent of their pinky toe it will probably be fine after a few days (this was me) but it is so worth it to have normal and functional feet. Very highly recommend.
very happy with them, have to use my fingers to help my the toes of my left foot get in but i really like the amount of cushion these have. I am not ready for a minimalist shoe yet (have worn them in the past) and this is the right “step one” for me. Comfy, stylish, and def a conversation starter when im out and about lol
I really enjoyed the Miami. They were a little loose without the socks but with the socks they’re absolutely perfect. They may be my favorite. Again, I wear a 9 1/2 in Nike and I ordered 9 1/2 and all of these and they fit perfect. By the way, I’ve always been a big sneaker ankle support fan and I find that these have plenty of support for me.
They have a lot to offer to the structure of the foot. In fact they have relieved pain for sure so they do recommend them. However, the stitching in the toes is uncomfortable and I find them hard to wear for more than an hour or so at a time. Hoping they break in but for foot function they are fantastic.
I love my 9.5 Strand so I decided to order the Miami as I like having slip-on shoe. The same size in Miami just did not work for me. Perhaps it's because my 2nd toe is longer than my big toe. Sop I went 1/2 size up to a size 10 and I am glad I made the change. The exchange process was fast and seamless. Great product and service to match.
If you wear a 10.5 normal shoe, then a 10.0 will work prefect. I don't wear my normal shoes anymore, peluvas to work and vibrams for Cardio and workouts. Excellent for feet strength!
They are comfortable when you have the right size and your toes are use to being apart.
I am a female and had to size up to a Men's 10.5 from my normal size 11 Women's given the tightness of this shoe. Size up a half a size or so to allow yourself some wiggle room ;). These are like a cozy hug to each of your toes and provide enough support to feel comfortable but not too much where you still feel your feet touching the ground. They're incredibly lightweight and flexible - perfect for everyday wear as well as any activity. Highly recommend!
The shoes themselves were amazing, but unfortunately they weren’t a good fit for me, since they were too big both by length and width. The Miami style requires a higher volume foot than mine. The support I got from Peluva was incredible! There was an issue with having prepaid duties & taxes up front for shipping into Canada (they have since fixed the issue on the website). I had to pay it again on delivery, but Kyle was quick to refund me and correct the issue. I asked a million questions and gave some feedback on how to better handle sizing information/details on the website so that it would be easier for customers to find their correct size. This was all very well received, and I believe there are working on gathering sizing details to update their site. Since processing a return online wasn’t working for Canada yet, I was told to just keep the shoes and gift them to a friend! They then sent me a new pair in a different style and size (shipped at their expense), and even reimbursed me for the new customs and duties charges that I would have to incur with the new shipment! This was all above and beyond, so unexpected and extremely appreciated! The new pair arrived swiftly and fit me perfectly! For reference, without socks, my feet measure 25.5cm in length and 23cm around the arch mid-foot. I ended up getting the black Strand in a Women’s size 11, which is adjustable with lacing & was a perfect fit. With socks, my toes are right at the end.. not much extra room, it’s definitely a glove like fit! From trying on both styles, the ‘Miami’ and ‘Strand’, I have to say that the cushy-ness is quite similar to that of the Altra Escalante. I will be keeping an eye out for more styles and colours from Peluva! This is the ultimate foot freedom for those of us that want a bit of extra cushion for the city’s concrete jungle!
