Women's Strand Sport MeshOverall, my wife really likes the Peluva shoes. They feel good, the design is unique, and once we finally got the right size, they worked well for her. The main reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because the sizing was frustrating. We originally ordered a 7.5, then had to exchange for an 8, and then again for an 8.5 before getting the right fit. That meant waiting multiple times, sending shoes back, and paying for return shipping, which made the process more annoying than it needed to be. I think Peluva should have a more consistent and accurate sizing guide so customers can measure their feet and feel more confident ordering the correct size the first time. The shoes themselves are good, but the sizing and exchange process could definitely be improved.
Women's Strand Sport MeshMy right foot is slightly longer than my left, and my 2nd right toe is longer than my big toe. Initially, that long toe was bent, and after a few days, I was just about ready to return them. It was a shame because everything else felt great! After about a week, I could wear them for an hour or two, and I began to notice the long toe flattened out. At that point, I decided that I would keep the shoes and started wearing them without socks. This is the best fit for me, and I just use a little powder to help avoid rubbing. I wear them only around the house, 4-5 hours every other day or so. I've noticed that squatting, going up and down stairs, and walking around on wood floors -- all of which I would otherwise do barefoot -- felt a lot more comfortable when wearing these shoes. I haven't worn them outside on a walk yet, and I did develop a couple small blisters the las time I wore them. The fabric that separates the toes rubs me wrong sometimes. But overall, my feet feel better while and after I wear them. I may keep these exclusively to use indoors around the house or at the gym. I may try a size up so that I can wear socks with them and go outside more comfortably.
Women's Strand Sport MeshMy biggest struggle with the shoe is getting it on. I dress for workouts first thing and sit on my closet floor for about 5 minutes struggling to get all my toes in the right places. Once they’re on, they feel good and I know I’m strengthening my feet by walking in them but man! I wish they would just slip right on without a fight!!
Women's Strand Sport MeshOverall I really like these shoes. The sizing is a little wonky. I used the online sizing tool and ordered the recommended size. They fit well except for the big toe, which was too short. It felt like that toe wouldn’t flatten completely and I was sure to develop a hole at the end. My big toe isn’t much longer than the second toe, they look pretty standard to me. I exchanged (very easy, thank you Peluva) and the next size up was more comfortable on my big toe. The length on all the other toes is kind of too long and I was worried I would trip or have to alter my gait in some way, but this hasn’t been the case. Transitioning has been easy, I’ve walked in them for several miles at a time outside and on the treadmill. At some point I may try wearing them to work if I can tolerate the teasing by my coworkers.
Sock wears good
Women's Strand Sport MeshI lift and walk in them and it feels good to have my toes stretch out. I definitely feel more stable in big lifts. My only complaint is the laces get uneven everytime I wear them I have to readjust them and the quality of the laces is just sub par to the rest of the shoe.
Women's Strand Sport MeshI work in the medical field and would wear these for 12 hours a day and would run up and down 4 flights of stairs for it was faster than the elevators. I worked on the top floor of a hospital for 4 years. I would push/pull (patients, equipment), assist patients to(stand, sit, lay down transfer), take labs, paperwork you name it for a night shift nursing assistant. If something needed to be found or moved I normally would be the one they would call for I would get it done in a timely matter. Depending on which unit and or assignment I was working i would do in a given day 7k(sitting shift)-45k (progressive care unit <PCU>) steps in on day or shift. The other factor was If I was on the code team. This is the only shoe I would recommend! Saying I was on my feet was an understatement when I was at work. The only down falls I had with these shoes (which is funny when you think about it), is 1) I had to put an insert in (toeless ones) due to how much I would walk in a day, and 2) that I would get oxygen tubes and or iv lines caught in between my toes. (No I never pulled them out or off of a patient) due to how they are made I could feel everything every time they got passed the tip of the toes. I also noticed I would not drag my feet like I did in other shoes. I could keep up with my coworker who was 6'5" as we raced to codes. I would have to say the funnies thing happened while I was wearing these shoes for I had a patient that was angry upset and just not having a good day for he was in the hospital. Lets face it who wants to be in the hospital, no one does most of the time the staff doesn't either. But i digress. I was helping the gentlemen to stand up for the first time after a procedure. He was in pain grumbling using choice words at me. He finally gets to the edge of the bed and I take a "stance" to get myself ready to help him stand up; shoulder width apart, one foot slightly forward, knees bent. He is holding the edge of the mattress looking at his feet. The patient saw my toes move, he jumped and said "What the ****". "Are you okay sir?" "What in the heck are you wearing on your FEET!" "Oh my toe Shoes? The Company is called Peluva, I love these things!" We ended up talking about my shoes and it distracted him enough from the pain to laugh as well as do what was needed to be done. That seem to be the turning point of his stay. The next night I came in to work, the day charge called me over and asked to see my shoes. She shook her head and laughed. I was told I was requested to work with a patient again for I made his stay better. A simple distraction and it worked wonders. I highly recommend, if not for comfort well maybe for an ice breaker to get a conversation going. I know it works for me.
Women's Strand Sport MeshI have been using the Vibram products and these have more support in the sole and arch and are easier to get on due to the conventional lace up.. the cons are the price ( especially for us Canadians), and the sizing does run small , otherwise so far so good:) would recommend..
Women's Strand Sport MeshI've only tried these on, on two occasions. The first was for about 10 minutes. The second for a few hours. I am still in the breaking in period; however, I will say that my feet have not been as sore as wearing my Xeros. I really like the toes being separated. I have been wearing them without socks and they have rubbed on my heals creating a hot spot. I feel this will take care of it's self the more I wear them. I am excited to try them on a run and see how my feet respond. So far, I am optimistic and they seem to be more comfortable than any minimalist shoe I've worn in the past.
Women's Strand Sport MeshThis is the second pair of Peluvas I purchased and, over all, I am happy with them. I actually purchased two pairs to replace the ones I wore out- one for my daily walks and one for casual wear. However, I did order the same size I had previously because they fit well but these new shoes are a tad too short. I hesitated returning them because I think going up a half size would be too much. I am hoping the shoes will stretch to accommodate my feet. In the meantime, I am enjoying the '10 toe massage'!
Women's Strand Sport MeshThis is my first pair of fingered sneakers. They seem to fit well. Still getting used to the unique feel of them.

Women's Strand Sport MeshNice. I think I ordered a little Small.
Women's Strand Sport MeshI don't love them as my Peluva cross trainers. They are comfortable, and I ordered one full size up, but the toe boxes themselves are a little more snug. And after wearing them consistenly for almost a month now, they haven't relaxed as much as I would like. Don't get me wrong, they are over-all comfortable for walking, they just aren't as comfy as my x-trainers are. I ordered the black and white ombre, and I absolutely DO love the style. They look great on, and I get a lot of comments and questions when I wear them out and about.
Women's Strand Sport MeshShoes are nice!! They fit ok yet u need to get a few workouts in to test them out. Ill follow-up soon
Women's Strand Sport MeshI have just started using my Pelvic uva toe shoes for weight lifting and am enjoying them. They seem to have reduced some knee pain and helped with my little toe issue(pulling under my other toes) . I am still adjusting but over all feel these have made a big difference my ability to build strength in my knees.
Women's Strand Sport MeshI ordered 10.5 tight fit. If i we're to buy another shoe it would be a 11 size but I love them. Went for 3 mile love them.
Women's Strand Sport MeshFirst, the toe bit is easy to get used to, and the comfort underfoot is great. I ordered the size peluva said to based on a snapshot of my foot on a piece of paper but should have paid attention to all the buters who said size up. I can wear them but it ruins my pedicure 😉 . Super plus was me running up and down a ladder in them without losing feeling in my feet like I do when I do that barefooted. I plan to buy a second pair because I would like to have two pair but the next pair will be larger.
Women's Strand Sport MeshI like the look of the shoe. I have only worn at home so far. I am having a little discomfort on right heel and on a couple of toes. I usually wear a 6 1/2 but have worn a 7 in some tennis shoes. I ordered a 71/2. I have read that they will stretch a little and hoping by continuing to wear them they will become more comfortable.
Women's Strand Sport MeshGreat pair of shoes. I don't have to take shoes off now for my calisthenics drills. It takes some getting used to putting on. I am used to Kiziks so I think something slip on would be nice since this adds about 5-7mins to my routine in the morning. Making it softer at the back would help since you really can't wear them with other socks and they dont shield you from the scraping.
Women's Strand Sport MeshCool shoes. You may want to size up half a size if you have long toes.

Women's Strand Sport MeshWhile I love the concept, I’d love to see them made in a. natural fabric like wool or cotton. This would improve the comfort of barefoot wearing as well.
