Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerNice for keeping your toes straight, but the material is really cheap. This should be an $80 to $90 shoe all day.
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerI bought these shoes in hope of improving my foot health as a runner and someone who suffers with bunions that have caused my toes to have limited mobility. I was fully aware of the discomfort I would have from initially wearing bear foot shoes due to this being mentioned when purchasing your product. I have had these shoes for 3 weeks and wear them to work at a large franchise gym. I can feel my muscles in my feet getting stronger and the discomfort was slowly decreasing up until about a few days ago when I noticed a blister on my little toe. The constant rubbing of one of the seams separating the toes caused a blister and has made wearing the shoes more difficult.
Men's Strand Lightweight Trainerinto their respective places. Other than that they have worked perfectly for my indoor workouts.
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerGood refund policy, customer service isnt bad so don’t worry. There’s no point in getting shoes with the toes at least this brand because your toes are just as restricted if not more restricted in these shoes than normal barefoot shoes. You can really only move toes up and down which u can do in almost every shoe, it does space your toes out which is nice and if you are unbothered by the design these shoes are good. They are uncomfortable in the toes if you wear sockless because of the seems, but in socks I assume would be fine. Overall you arent getting more from these shoes than normal barefoot shoes, so if you want a normal shoe look but have the benifits of zero drop and wide toe box go with normal barefoot shoes.

Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerI have three pairs of the Stand. I like them. But this black pair has a rough/hard spot in the inside stitching on the left shoe that is creating a skin irritation on the top of my foot and is uncomfortable to wear. Contracting support to see if they will replace it.
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerUnique design but, the craftsmanship and construction appear rudimentary. Only time and use will indicate how well they hold up. Additionally, an increase in insole support and cushioning at the heel might help with comfort during high impact activities.
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerGreat shoes, they fit like garbage bags. Keeping it fresh and wiggly. Make sure you don’t get in white, the inside of the toes will get brown. Overall good, shipping took to long.
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerI’ll buy the other brand I was looking at and compare the 2. This shoe hurt my pinky toe while at the gym. I’ll keep these for swimming only
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerMy slightly feral 14 yr old son loves them. We shall see if they hold up well to the abuse he will inevitably put them through before giving a solid review. We live on a farm, and my son is VERY active outdoors. If the shoes make it 6 months I'll be impressed. He put them on as soon as he unwrapped them Christmas morning and has worn them every time he goes out side since, which is weird for him, he usually runs around barefoot unless its icy out, or make him put shoes one.
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerI live overseas and have not yet received my new shoes from my shipping company. I will know in a month how I like your Shiraz I can tell you I have purchased 5 pair of Vibrams five fingers within the last ten years. I have never been quite happy with their lack of padding and narrow sole. If your shoes are as I am anticipating, I will stop buying vibram and you will have a new, life-long customer.
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerGreat customer service but sizing was not accurate. Nearly little difference between sizes 10-11 which made me have to request exchange. Also tie enclosure is sloppy. Would also say that toe box is too wide for those with slimmer foot.
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerI loved the way this felt, if they had only fit... I wear a 49 in Vibram... But apparently the 14 here are 48.5. And they were just a touch to small 😩 I am going they make extended sizing.
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerMy pinky Toe does not reach the toe pocket. As 3 if my other toes are bottomed out and Tight.
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerThe cut and glue seams are kind of crude and make me worried how long the shoe will hold together. Material feels similar to an aquatic sports shoe.
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerMy pinky toe barely makes it into its chamber, but my big toe is fully hitting the wall. The toe area is shaped for people with a relatively flat foor front, not as curved as most minimalist shoes. This makes my pinky toe feel like it's constantly slipping out while my big toe feels cramped. Need multiple styles for different toe shapes...
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerThe toe next to my big toe is slightly longer. Feels uncomfortable. Sad to say not for everyone.
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerI’ve been wearing minimalist footwear for many years now. I was very excited to finally see alternative “toe” shoe. Ordered a pair immediately. For myself, the fit just wasn’t there. The toes are too short. The sole cups the bottom of the foot, which made my foot feel crowded. I can see the appeal of the thicker sole but to me it felt not only thick, but stiff. I felt like style was the number one priority, with fit and functionality being second. I’ve seen a lot of minimalist shoes end up this way. Almost like they reverse engineered an athletic shoe that instead of starting with a foot and working out. Fit and finish on the shoe seemed to excellent. So three stars for a quality shoe. If they make a second generation of these, I’ll try them again. But for now, they miss the mark.
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerI'm a long-time wearer of minimalist shoes. I was very interested in these because, quite simply, they are the only alternative "toe" shoe I've seen in a while. For myself, the toes seemed short. As soon as I slid my foot in, I felt pressure on the inside of the big toe. I also could feel the sole of the shoe wrapping up around my foot. I know this is a styling element, but for myself, the overall effect was the feeling of confinement. The overall quality of the shoe seemed quite good. Because the return policy is so strict, I wasn't able to do anything in the shoes besides walk a bit on carpet, so I have no idea if they would have "broken in". I would have given them 30 days if the return policy was a bit more forgiving. I might have also tried a half size larger, just to be sure, but I feel it was the shape of the shoe that was the issue, not the size. My overall impression is that style came first. It felt like they started with a normal athletic shoe and added toes, instead of starting with a foot and building from there. Just my opinion. Three stars for what appears to be a decently constructed shoe. Wish it fit my foot better. I'd certainly try a second or third generation and see how these evolve with time. Also, a solid black option would be nice.
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerI love the shoes ! I will be wearing them in my first U.S. SpeedGolf Open in October! They are awesome!
Here are the cons: the shoelaces provided are far too long & the actual shoe itself does not fit tight enough around the middle of my foot, but that might be because I don't wear socks with them. The pros: I like the design of the shoe, especially the soul and the tread as they're both just enough prescription and support. The upper mesh is also unique though I have my hesitations and it lasting for a long time as I do wear these barefoot with those socks and sweat quite a bit when working out.
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerNot bad, I like them but for the money I thought they would be a little better
