Different but comfortable.
I was skeptical about trying these shoes. I wear Xero brand barefoot shoes as well as the Peluva shoes I now own. These socks are very comfortable and I recommend them even when you have to wear non barefoot style shoes as they alleviate the discomfort of modern shoes.
Thanks, John! Glad to hear the socks are working well for you, even beyond barefoot shoes!

Took a little getting used to, but LOVING them now.
These took a little getting used to (seems like it took FOREVER to train my "pinky toes" to fit in their spots) but I am loving these shoes now. I use them to take a hike every day and my feet feel AMAZING after a week or so.
Glad to hear that, Daniel! Awesome that you’re feeling stronger already.

perfect balance of minimal and padding
These are like if you took old Altra escelantes and smashed them with vibram barefoot vrun and they are amazing. You get flexible 5 finger shoes the have just enough cushion to make them wearable on asphalt.
I wore vrun's for years and switch to Altra's because I needed slightly more cushion but was never happy. These hit the sweet spot.
They fit your feet snug like a glove and they are a pleasure to wear. We will see how they fair in the winter which is normally the place where 5 finger shoes stop working. But for all other seasons these will be my go to shoes from now on.
Thanks, Asriel! Great to hear they’re working well for the treadmill, appreciate the note on the sole.

ok first let me tell you this. yall need to hire a better photographer. maybe from only feet or something. Your pictures make your models' feet look like clown feet. super skeptical on what they looked like but I took that leap. when I put mine on the looked like normal shoes. Thank goodness. So when measuring, I went with the middle measurement. should of gotten the one size bigger to save the trouble of waiting. So wearing these was a blast I was actually very surprised how much they actually felt good on my feet. Im assuming it will take a while for my heel pain. But it might not go away, that’s just a pain that’s always there. Also never try and run in these for long distances when you first get them. I had to get from one end of Denver airport to the other in 10 min. when I tell you I have never had shin splints so bad in my life.. so ease yourself into that lol. Also remember that scene in sponge bob when he tries to drive and he pokes his big toe out the shoe. That’s how it feels to drive in these. All in all these are great, ignore my heal pain part. I cant stand in one spot for long periods of time but my entire foot pain has gone from a 9 to about 3 to 5. And for me that’s a big win for me. I've had $500 inserts that just failed me and the Good Feet store failed me. Wearing these at least 3 to 5 times a week has made it resend a lot. Even when switching to regular shoes, it helped too. I can feel my feet better even though the toes aren’t separated. My wife loves her pair and I've recommended them to a lot of family hoping they will jump on board.
Thanks for the awesome review, Preston! We’re so glad you took the leap, sounds like they’re making a real difference for you. And your SpongeBob driving reference had us laughing!
Glad to hear they’re feeling great, David! It definitely takes a little adjusting, but sounds like you’re getting the hang of it.

Surprisingly comfortable
I bought these 3 months ago. I don't wear them every day. Use them when I go on walks. I wear them without socks and they are super comfortable, like foot gloves. Feels like a toe massage with each step! Last month I used them for two days hiking at Arches and Zion national parks. About 7 miles each day. Felt great the whole time.
I usually wear an 8 or 8.5. I bought a 9. They are too tight with the peluva toe socks, but I'm afraid if I buy a larger size my little toe won't reach. Still have trouble getting them on, but that is because my pinkly toe is so small and curled up that I have to reach in with my finger to push it into the slot. I have bunions and noticed on my last walk that my foot is so wide at that joint that it was riding on the edge of the sole. didn't get sore but was noticeable. In other words, the bottom of my feet are wider than the shoe sole. Wondering if the men's size would be wider at that point....
Giving a five star rating because overall I they are so comfortable and that the issues are with the shape of my feet, not the shoe itself.
Thanks so much, Judy! Love hearing how comfy they’ve been, even on long hikes. Appreciate the detailed feedback, it really helps!

Absolutely amazing, my feet feel better. My back hurts less. They are built well and very comfortable. A bit of a transition but i can tell that my feet are falling back into true form.

I’ve been wearing my Peluva shoes for a couple of days now and I love them. I’ve worn barefoot shoes before and they’re very unforgiving on asphalt and concrete surfaces. Peluva has just enough cushion to protect against the urban terrain, yet remains flexible and comfortable.
The only drawback back for me is they run on the smaller side, which Peluva did still have a size large enough for me. And also getting the right type of socks. I didn’t order the Peluva brand, which is something I’m going to look into. The wrong type of sock will definitely through of the entire feel of the shoe because of the toes. My toes are a bit longer than the socks I have, which causes pressure between my toes. Definitely try the shoe with and without socks so you can determine the best feel for yourself
Thanks for the thoughtful review, Donald! We’re glad you’re enjoying the balance of cushion and flexibility, great point about trying different socks for the best feel.

Walk Walk Walk
My new walking shoes are so cool!! I used to walk in running shoes and after a while my feet would start to ache. Now every where I go on foot its only Peluvas for me.
Thanks, Justin! Thick and cozy is exactly what we’re going for, glad you’re loving them.

Love these toe shoes
This is my first pair of Peluvas and this will be my go to brand. The soles are the perfect thickness to protect on rocks and the barefoot feels is still great! I thought at first they were a touch big but once I had my toe socks on, the fit is perfect. I ordered my normals size. I’m looking forward to my next pair and have been browsing the site to see which style they will be. I have worn another brand of toe shoes for almost 20 years but their quality was deteriorating. I’m so thankful to have found Peluva!
Love to hear it, Justin! Thanks for spreading the word, hope your next pair is on the way soon.

The 3rd Time was the Charm!
I had some difficulty finding the right size. Size 10 was too small, size 11 was too big… and I went for the 11 on the second try because the size 10 was REALLY too small.
But size 10.5 has turned out to be just right! The fit is good, and these have more cushioning in the soles than my Vibram 5 finger shoes. This also makes them warmer to wear, which is really nice with fall and winter coming. I’m really going to enjoy these shoes and I’ll soon be looking for my next favorite pair of Peluva’s!
