Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerLove how putting them on after working all day relieves the stress on my feet and working out in then feels natural
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerI probably should have gotten a 1/2 size bigger but they are game changers. Actually helping me with relief from Plantar fasciitis symptoms. The impact in the gym is what I got them for and it makes finding a stronger base to lift easier.
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerI wear my Peluvas every day. I have two pairs and change them out every few days or depending on what I'm wearing. I love them! I walk at least 10,000-20,000 steps every day, always wearing these shoes. I wish I had even more pairs!
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerI learned about these from The Model Health Show and wanting to find a better pair of shoes for the gym I figured it was worth giving these a try. The shoes have been fantastic! Took about a week for my toes to get fully adjusted to the individual toe boxes but now they slide right in. Will definitely be buying another pair in the future with some socks to replace my sneakers once they wear out.
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerI’m in stroke recovery with weakness and lack of mobility on my right side. These shoes are simply amazing. My balance is stabilizing and my stride is a bit more comfortable and confident!
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerLoving these toe shoes. I feel grounded every time I step out with them. They feel great while hiking and going for nature walks as well.
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerI have suffered from toe drag most of my life and these shoes helped me rebuild my gait, closed shoes really hinder how our bodies were supposed to work. I plan on buying the dress version to pair with kaki pants, I would love to see more for professional wear or semi casual business attire.
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerI started lifting weights at the gym in these shoes. After a few months of regular workouts I bought another pair because I want to wear them during my morning walks and when out and about.
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerI have never been so comfortable in a pair of shoes. I wear them every day, though I do get a few looks and giggles. I will buy another pair when these need replaced.
Skeptical at first but pleasantly surprised with my Peluva Strand. Have already logged many walks , some runs & even hikes thru the trails. Also, great customer service, knowledgeable & helpful.

Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerI am staying for a month and a half at my wife's Spanish village. It has a lot of trails so I have been walking every morning and my Peluva trainer have made the walks more enjoyable because I can actually feel the ground beneath me. The thin sole allows me to feel the different surfaces and does not require socks.
Got the shoes in hopes of gaining strength and relief from hip and back pain. Still slowly breaking them in. I have done two workouts thus far with no issues.
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerI bought these after experiencing feet pain. Before they arrived I started various feet stretch routines to help with the pain. After receiving these, my feet pain is pretty much gone. So comfy!
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerOnly two legitimate complaints, but first it's worth noting that this is actually the best shoe I have ever worn in my entire life. For around a year I tried about three different barefoot brands, all decent shoes for what they offer, but none of them quite what I needed. It was getting to the point where I was getting intense back pain, hip pain, and pain on my soles all day long. There's no way to scientifically quantify this, but since I started wearing Peluvas, I don't have the pain anymore. That speaks for itself. As far as constructive criticisms, only two things to point out: 1. I love zero drop, but I've noticed that after a few months of wearing my Peluvas, the sole beneath my heal has somewhat begun to compress and wear out faster than the sole under the ball of my feet. This leads to my heal being ever so slightly lower than the balls of my feet. Essentially what feels like "negative drop." A nearly negligible difference, but it's still there. I am intentional about not striking heavily on my heal when I walk, especially when running, but some impact is inevitable. I've wondered if Peluva might compensate for this by designing some of their shoes with perhaps even just a half centimeter drop, just to adjust for long-term wear. 2. The second point goes along a similar theme. I have been wearing my Peluvas for 9 months. Already I have noticed the outsole beginning to fall off, and some of the seams along the toes are coming undone. Granted, I wear my Peluvas about 8 hours a day, 5 days a week on average. Occasionally I'll use them to play pickleball or walk around downtown. They definitely take a beating, but their durability nonetheless falls short compared to most other name brands. I'm happy to continue investing my money in Peluva, but I would also prefer not to have to buy a new pair every year. (A gentle third complaint could be that the Strand Lightweight Trainers in particular becomes EXTREMELY slippery on wet floors, but we can live with that easily enough. Just something to be careful about.) Perfection is an illusion and it's normal to have areas of growth. Unless I'm going to a formal event or a fancy date, I exclusively wear my Peluvas anywhere that does not allow me to be barefoot. It's not an exaggeration to say that they have changed my life for the better. The simple fact that I stopped experiencing daily pain almost INSTANTLY when I started to wear Peluva is enough for me to be a committed customer. They're comfortable, light, flexible, easy to keep clean, and as far as a barefoot shoe goes, the least dorky pair I've ever owned.
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerTrying these out at the request of my PT - her demand actually :-) Getting used to putting them on, and to the comments peopel make about how cool they are. My big toe touches the end, hoping it's not too short. Meanwhile, I'll wear them daily and see how much faster they make me.
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerAfter figuring out how to get into them, they were awesome! Fit is perfect.
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerUnexpectedly comfortable!
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerHonestly thought it was gonna be a while before I got used to them but after just a couple times wearing them I literally don’t wanna wear regular shoes anymore. Can’t wait to order more pairs!
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerI'm a Peluva CONVERT! I've been working on my foot health and balance as one main focus of my health in 2025. I have Morton's neuromas on both feet. At the beginning of '25, my feet were flat, bunions were re-emerging after surgery to have them removed from both feet in 2006, and my right toes would get a tingling sensation of painful pins and needles after walking just one mile. I started watching Courtney Conley talk about earth shoes and barefoot shoes. I now own several Xero earth shoes, Vivo Barefoot shoes, vibram five fingers and now Peluvas. Each shoe has served it's purpose in allowing my feet to splay, move and expand with each step. But omg... Peluva is winning for me among these brands! I now own 3 pairs of Peluvas - - the lightweight strand trainer, the mesh sports trainer and the strand ATR Peluvas. I can walk for MILES and MILES and Miles (and do so daily) in these shoes without *any* foot pain! I feel like Peluvas have given me back my ability to walk! - I am almost making myself cry thinking about how much better my life is now that I'm able to not only walk 5-7 miles a day, but I can do it with a weighted vest! I will add that I still need a thin metatarsal insert to help support my Morton's neuromas but this is an issue unique to me. It did require a break-in period for me, but I feel my foot issues are quite extensive, so everyone's mileage my vary here.
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerWhen Peluva says “snug fit” they meant it. You may want to go up a size.
