Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerFor note, I have a wide foot(4E/Extra Wide)and have to usually go 2 sizes larger to fit most shoes. These are the best fitting shoes I have had. With this, the foot scanner did not properly measure my foot. Kept implying it was either 8(I am usually 9.5) or would say my foot was too small. Mild discomfort when first wearing, toes cramped. After wearing them more they fit like a glove. Only issue is now that its winter the breathable material lets more cold air in the I am use to. I think due to no padding nor arch support, causes muscles to tense in legs more then usual. My only concern is how well they will last years down the line. Most shoes I try to keep at least for 3 years. While the quality is nice, unsure if they will stand to wear and tear. For everday walking they seem fine, unsure how they will handle hiking or rougher terrain. Also, as someone who walks on their toes when barefoot, these are the first shoes to allow this and not feel painful/uncomfortable.
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerIt feels great no real difference to the Miami but I would recommend the Miami for transitioning as it provides greater comfort. I do like the Strand better though, it has a much better fit. Fivefinger sock highly recommended for sliding in better.
It's really good
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerMy son wants some but you guys don't have his size his size is a three and a half and he's nine so could you guys please get back to me when you have a size thank you
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerI love how they are less noticable than vibrams. I now can wear them to work, 12 hour shift as a nurse in more comfort. I just wish they had wider sizes. My feet are wide and my MTP (big toe) joint goes over the sole while the shoe shape prevents my big to from spreading. But no squished toes which I appreciate greatly!
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerI really love these shoes but I have very sensitive feet and the seam that comes up under the big toes bothers me enough to take a star away. I got some toe socks and that does help but even with socks if I tried to wear them and walk in them for a long period I think I'd have a problem. They are great for my Morton's neuroma, for the most part I don't feel it when wearing these shoes. I also think generally they are really going to help me improve my foot health.
These are cool. They get noticed obviously but... Now this is my first minimal pair and I need more time but initially, I'd say it's an amazing feeling. I feel I walk straighter, taller, more secure. Not running yet. The toe movement is helpful, I feel each pebble and gravel, etc. Good to excellent construction and material. Be difficult, well it takes time to put on correctly but it gets easier. There is a fault in that the toe space is not long enough:) especially, as I imagine, your feet spread out. I would have sized up half a size but wonder if that would change the joint space. Better to lengthen your space to accommodate different sizes. Still, I like these, not bad. The foot insertion has potential solutions, maybe next design:)
Men's Strand Lightweight TrainerEnjoy being in these way more than vibrams.
