Walking covered. Now change the way we run!
This shoe is fine for walking, but we REALLY need a dedicated running version. I saw videos of the founder who seems to be against running anything over one mile which is very disheartening. (Even the Army PT Test was more than that!) I doubt it will change anything, but after running in the Strand, I would love to see a slightly more breathable version with better grip for road running.
I bought these as a gift for my son who is extremely active every day. He was interested in trying them for foot and overall health benefits. He’s had them approximately 10 days and likes them so far. I would have given these five stars, however, they arrived without the free socks that we’re supposed to be included as noted on the FAQ page.
Thank you for your feedback and for choosing Peluva as a gift for your son. We're glad to hear he is enjoying the shoes so far. We apologize for the oversight regarding the free socks. Please reach out to our customer email support, and we'll make sure the socks are sent to you promptly.

Toe shoed
Comfortable for casual walking but definitely not made for long distance
Sizes run a little small
Overall I like the feel and comfort level
I, at first, was afraid I wasn’t going to be able to wear the shoe glove as my family calls them. All my toes are “hammer toes.” I ordered size 9.5. That’s the size I get when I buy regular leather shoes. When I but running shoes, I buy size 10 because I always wear rather thick socks. I was surprised at how close the fit was. My big toe is at the very end of the space provided. At first the shoes did not seem to fit well, but I never gave up on them, and now they fit great. This morning I had an important meeting with my financial advisors. I first put on my Brooks running shoes. I didn’t want to wear them. I changed to my Peluvas and my feet felt great. Now I need your help. When winter comes I’ll need socks. Should I go to size 10?
Thank you for sharing your experience and positive feedback on the Peluva shoes. We're glad to hear that they've become a comfortable fit for you over time. Regarding your question about winter socks, if you typically wear thicker socks during the colder months, we recommend considering a half size up to a size 10 for additional comfort. This should provide enough room for the thicker socks without compromising the fit. If you need further assistance, please reach out to our customer email support.

Small toe slot.
Maybe my foot /toes are not normal - but my small toe doesn’t fit in to the slot. It’s to short.
So far going well. I had to return/exchange to get size right. That process was straightforward and simple and I am now convinced these fit and move with me right.
Shoes are enjoyable but fit size needs to be more accurate
I love the shoes but when I was doing the fit size test that you guys recommended it told me to pick 10.5 and it was too tight, I went to 11 and it is still too tight so I am hoping 11.5 will be perfect.
Another thing I want to mention is that when you return shoes and when you select the size you want if one isn't available instead of giving you a error it defaults to 8.5 which happened to me which was frustrating since it delayed the process and I had to return it again
Makes running and walking easier. Makes exercise more doable and lets my feet spread out the way they should be. The right one rubs the back of my ankle, and I wear mole skin to cover it, but other than that, great shoe!
The recommendation was to get a half size larger than normal running shoes, but I still went with the normal size Turned out to still be about half a size too big. My two smallest toes slip out when running or walking up a hill, and even walking on level ground there is far too much room for my foot to move around inside. I’m pretty sure there is a slight rise in the heel, in case you’re looking for a completely flat sole. Assuming you can get a good size, they are extremely comfortable (:
The tag on the top of shoe picks at top of your foot like a burr. Need to design a softer tag material instead of a stiff plastic which rubs on skin contact.
This is my second pair of Peluva and I don't regret getting them. I try to exercise regularly and I had been exercising barefooted. Since I've received this new pair, my workouts have been much more comfortable with a much better floor grip thanks to the Peluva. I normally wear size 9 and so I purchased size 9.5 but I might have bought a size 10 for some extra toe space.
I strongly feel these shoes should come with several sets of socks or have an option. The laces are way too long for these shoes, I think they could get away with 1/2 even 1/4 of the length they are shipped with.
The shoes feel great, everything else is exactly as described.
They are really comfortable and I have already started seeing changes in my foot and feeling stronger and more free. It is really good quality and is comfortable to wear in any surface so far. My only complaint is that the laces are so long and there is no where to put them so your foot can get caught in the laces and make you trip.
Shoes feel lovely to walk in. As they are so light it almost feels like I don't have shoes on at all. I found it a bit difficult to get all my toes in the right slots since they are not used to being splayed. Hopefully this will change the more I wear them. The fit is pretty much perfect apart from my big toe which is kind of pushing against the end. When I look at the shoe itself the big toe and second toe are basically the same length. When I look at my foot however, my big toe is longer the my second toe. Either I have weird toes or hopefully the big toe section of the shoe will stretch a little the more I wear them. Have only had the shoes for 24 hours and I am sure they will become more comfortable to wear in the weeks ahead.
Love them. Make me want to climb things and jump on stuff. Feet feel rejuvenated after a walk with the dog . You should make a more trail orientated shoe that could stand up to more rugged condition.
When I wear the shoes with socks, they are comfortable, but the socks tug on my toenails, which is not comfortable. Without socks, one of my toes rubs against the inside of the shoe, so I need to wear (a larger size) sock to make everything completely comfortable.
