Good job Grok & son!
These may be designed for every day use, but I still like to wear them for trail running! There are awesome! Super comfortable and still very flexible with a lot of ground contour feel without the sharp pains of pointy rocks and pebbles under foot.
My first pair were very comfortable basic Strands but the nice soft upper material didn’t last long with trail running ground cover abrasion . I am delighted you persevered and developed the ATR style. Perfect for me.
The Strand ATR is the best toe shoe I’ve ever used. I have used five-toed shoes for since 2012. I mostly use them for road running and gym. For context I have used and owned several models of Vibram including: Bikila LS, KSO Evo, V-Run, V-Trail 2.0, V-Trek, V-Alpha & V-Train
From Peluva I have both the Strand and the Strand ATR.
The Strand ATR is my favorite toe shoe. I bought the ATR in hope of improved grip for road running and WAS NOT disappointed! When rotating back to my other five-toed shoes, I found that I was missed the grip and fit of the ATR's and soon started wearing them to the gym too! Eventually, I realized that the Strand ATR had basically replaced(and improved on!) every use I had for all of the Vibram models mentioned above. From grip, comfort, fit & performance, the Strand ATR, is continually the best option for my use cases. I will definitely buy another pair whenever a black or mostly black version is released.
The Strand are a little more structured in feeling than the Lightweight Trainer, so if you are out running and hitting the pavement these are the go to's!
I love them! I get compliments on them wherever I go, which leads to a conversation about body mechanics, health, the joy of running, skating, etc. They provide much more support than five-finger vibrams. Both these and the five-finger Vibrams are my favorite shoes of all time. They are very high quality and highly recommended.
I never thought I’d be a foot shoe guy, but after Skateboarding for over 25 years, I am starting to value my foot health more and more. I wear these shoes whenever I am not Skateboarding and they feel great.
A lot more durability packed into this model. I never thought I’d be a foot shoe guy, but as someone who has skateboarded for 25 years, I am really starting to value my foot health. I wear them every moment that I’m not skateboarding. I love them.

This is my first pair of the Strand ATR’s… I previously purchased multiple pairs of the Lightweight style (also love). The Strand are way better for the gym and trails etc... Once new colors launch, I will be purchasing another pair of the Strand ATR. Love them!
They’re so comfortable once you get used to them! The measuring tool they made works wonderfully! I’m usually a 11-11.5 and they recommended a 12 since I wanted to wear socks with them and it’s a perfect fit! Love how they look and feel! Wore them out all day and to the gym, no complaints!

The appearance of the shoes definitely take a moment to get used to, but they are very comfortable. My feet has become suddenly very painful to walk on and I’m hoping that these shoes can help me get them straightened out..
I really like these barefoot type shoes a lot. You pretty much feel the ground as if you were barefoot, but certainly have the protection enough to go walk on gravel or rougher terrain as I do on my daily walks. I did have to get used to putting on toed socks and then lining up my toes in the shoes, which I am getting better at. I like the feeling of it, spreading your foot out more and I feel that it’s doing good for my feet and hopefully can prevent injury and keep my feet healthy as I age. I have been walking in Hoka shoes the last six months and they are very comfortable, but I feel that the Peluva shoe is more natural and helping my feet develop more stability.
