Well made, nice shoes.
I've worn these for walks for a few weeks now. It takes a little while to get used to putting them on. I recommend no socks and a little foot powder. Still, it takes some effort to get all toes in.
They are well built shoes and don't show any signs of workmanship flaws.
Glad you’re enjoying them, Brian! They can take a bit of practice to put on, but once you’re in, the comfort and build quality really shine.

Almost right
I purchased a half size larger. They are more comfortable to sprint in than walk in but I like them. Front of toes feels a little off so I'm hoping they stretch a little. A softer run than 5 fingers. Will buy again
Thanks for the feedback, Charles! Sounds like you’re close to dialing in the perfect fit. We’re glad they feel great for sprints and hope the toe area softens up with wear. Appreciate you sticking with us!

Giant fan!
To keep this simple. I used to wear the other 5 “toe’d”shoes. I appreciate not only the look, but the feel and comfort of these much more. These shoes are a perfect length for my feet (no socks), I would recommend going up a size if you are choosing to wear socks. They are comfortable and seem durably designed. I have already ordered a second pair.
Glad to hear it’s going well so far, Donald! Thanks for giving Peluva a try, we’re here if you need anything.

Pretty Happy Overall
Per the suggestions and other's recommendations, I selected 1/2 size larger. They fit pretty well without the socks although large toe rubs against the front while others still have room so perhaps it's my particular feet/toes. The socks tighten the fit but seem to experience some discomfort with 3rd & 4th toes while wearing them together. Overall, pretty happy and will continue to wear them mostly without socks as I'm concerned another 1/2 size larger may be too large.
I like these. Comfortable & stay on well. Glad they had a shoe string in stead of a hard pull lock. Hopping to be able to kick a heavy bag.
Customer service was very helpfull as the first was 2 size to large. Easy to exchange.
Thanks
Thanks, Chris! We're glad the fit and comfort are working well for you, and happy to hear the exchange process was smooth. Appreciate your support!

Very good
I like them a lot. The socks are unfortunately a little thin/flimsy. I will be buying the non lightweight ones as well and trying them out. Will not be submitting a pic. Sizing tool online is 10/10 though.
Thanks for the feedback, Tyler! We're glad you're enjoying the shoes and found the sizing tool helpful. We appreciate the input and hope you love the next pair you try!

Experienced barefoot shoe wearer, 1st time peluva wearer.
I have been wearing various barefoot shoe brands for several years almost exclusively. I have also been wearing toe speakers at night and sometimes at home during the day. I have very wide feet and decades of squished toes. My feet while being very wide have a steep angle from my big toe to my pinkie toe. My first few times wearing the peluvas required multiple attempts to get them on correctly. All my toes want to seat one toe over. After a week I am now able to put them on correctly the first time. I can comfortably wear them all day and they are now my first choice on non work days. I plan to start trying them at work next week. I am on my feet all day at work. I currently wear my Whittington to work but I am confident the peluvas will become my goto shoe. I plan to order a 2nd pair, probably the dessert boot.
I was worried my pinkie would not reach the toe slot but I haven't noticed a problem.
I believe these shoes have made more progress in spreading my toes in two weeks than my toes spreaders did in two years. I will continue to wear both.
Thanks for the fantastic and detailed feedback, Brian! It’s great to hear how quickly you adjusted to the Strand Lightweight Trainers and that they’re already making a noticeable difference in your toe alignment and comfort. We’re excited for you to keep progressing and hope they become your go-to work shoes too!
Shoes are amazing for your feet!
Yes you may get weird look in public at first, but after a while wearing them, the benefits of having a stronger, healthier feet outweigh anything else. It’s hard to wear regular shoes after wearing Peluva for a while!
Appreciate your feedback, Giovanni! We’re glad the Strand Lightweight Trainer is making a real difference for you. Strong, healthy feet are always worth it!

Love the Shoes - But can Improve
I love the Peluvas; they're now my go-to shoes for daily activities and working out. After getting used to them, they just feel better than regular shoes. There are some things that Peluva could do better though:
-I can't figure out my real correct size. The sizing tool on the website said I was an 11. Those were much too small, so I got an 11.5. They fit great except for my big toes, which hurt after wearing them around the house for a day, so I exchanged those for a 12. The 12s are a little too big though. I have to pull the laces very tight resulting in the top of the shoe folding over a bit, but none of my toes hurt, so I've kept them. My foot slides forward and back a bit, resulting in my little toes occasionally slipping out of their toe area, and when my heel is all the way back, there's too much space in the front. To help with the slipping, I made two extra shoelace holes to keep my feet more snug .
-The shoelaces are too long, and there aren't enough shoelace holes to keep your foot secure. This could be easily remedied.
-It would also be nice if Peluva put some water-resistant treatment on the fabric. As is, if it's even a little wet underfoot, your socks are going to get wet. This means you'll always need another pair of regular shoes if it's at all damp or even just misting outside. That said, I've worn these walking over ice and snow and have been fine, even if my feet get a little wet.
Again, overall, these are great shoes. I'm going to get another pair, and hopefully the 11.5s will work in a different kind and Peluva will fix a few of these issues.
Glad you’re enjoying the barefoot feel! We appreciate your feedback on sizing, laces, and water resistance—this helps us improve. Thanks for sharing your experience and for sticking with Peluva!
