Great shoes - even with messed up toes
I've got some messed up toes that don't flatten completely which makes getting the right shoes very tricky. These worked well even if some toes don't fill the entire toe slot. And the great thing is that I can feel all my toes working when I walk now - and without pain. I definitely recommend. Also, follow Dr. Rob on IG (heydrrob). He knows his stuff, and you get a discount on the shoes thanks to him.

The first pair I purchased, had the top lace holder rip out on me and I was very disappointed. But the company responded very quickly to address the need and fix the problem by sending me a new pair. The shoes are very comfortable with or without toe socks. I get nothing but comments everywhere I go wearing them and they are fabulously comfortable.

I debated getting these for about a year, then I finally broke down and ordered a pair. I've had them just about 2 weeks and they are amazing. My feet have never felt better and I had been battling a tendon strain on my right ankle for the past year and within the past two weeks have actually seen it return to normal just from wearing these shoes which I was not expecting at all. The only downside is that I should have ordered a half size larger. Currently they fit fine without socks but when I wear my toe socks they are a bit tight, so next pair I get will be 10 1/2 instead of 10. Aside from that, these shoes are about perfect. Also I have found it a bit painful running in, but I realized that it's not because there isn't enough support, but because your feet are utilized differently therefore different muscles are being engaged and so like with any muscle it takes time to acclimate to different loads.

I’ve been enjoying the shoes so far and I’ll definitely be back to order some shoes for walking around the house. ** Special thanks to Peluva for the help with getting me the correct size. I used the auto size tool and it suggested an 11.5. It was okay but caused my 2nd and 3rd toes to cramp when walking. I traded them in for a 12.5 which definitely has enough room. I use them for exercising and I wear them at work; I do professional massage therapy. It took about a day or two to get used to them but they are surprisingly comfortable. In the FAQ it suggests ordering a half size up, in my case this is spot on!

I walk. I have been getting into the "barefoot" zero drop shoes for a while now. These are my first pair of TOE shoes. Have only had these for about a month. They feel really great - on my feet and with my gait. I hope they will last. I have no reason to doubt that they will, but it's too soon to tell at this point. I'm a size 12 and still working on restoring my splay so i struggle a bit putting these on. They are absolutely PERFECT sizewize, but getting my toes in where they are supposed to be (for me) is a little bit of a undertaking. That's ME, not the shoes. Very happy with these so far.

I am still in the process of getting the sizing right, but with Peluva's return policy and excellent customer service I have plenty of time to do so. I cannot say enough good things about these "shoes." Yes, they are a bit of a pain to put on, but you figure it out. That said, my Strands have been a game changer. Somewhere between 60-63 my feet started giving me problems. Neuropathy, neuroma and arthritis had impeded my lateral and quick step movement to almost non-existent. Fitness has always been a thing for me. The prospect of losing mine had become depressing. While I have known about these shoes for a couple of years, it took me as much time to give them a try after suffering different, traditional training shoes, physical therapy and indifferent sports doctors. Immediately after putting them on, I found it easier to walk and keep my balance. Over the course of a week as I became less conscious of them, I found myself moving the way I used to and should. When I realized this, I attempted quick lateral movement. Miraculously, I felt healed! I performed aerobic and Tennis like movements I haven't made for some time with ease and certainty. The shoes are sturdy and light. Feeling everything beneath my feet is interesting and reminds me I am doing something good for myself. Tune into Stay Flexy (Movement By David) on You Tube. He's a most persuasive, impressive spokesman! Shout out to Kyla in customer service. We have/had an ongoing exchange regarding shoe details and EVERY question I asked was answered. Now for the caveats... They ABSOLUTELY run small. I think I'll need to go up a full size before the testing I'm doing is finished. So what if they aren't the best looking footwear. The more satisfied I am with them the better looking they become. They'll take some getting used to. After half a day in them of relatively active use, my feet become fatigued. Research on this tells me my feet will get stronger from wearing them. I believe this. I pray they may be "corrective." Availability is bad. Sorry not sorry, Peluva. Most of the shoes in my size range were unavailable. None of these caveats would keep me from getting more. I look forward to a long relationship with this brand.

Aside from being very comfortable everyone is asking what are those it’s a great conversation starter. It definitely takes a little bit getting used to but so worth it. Do yourself a favor and get a pair. I suggest going to half size bigger than the measurement aside from that everything else has been great.

Second pair of barefoot shoes. Takes a little time to adjust to the splay, but these are very lightweight and comfortable. My use is primarily walking. I bought a size up from the recommended size and they fit perfectly.
