Great shoes for the trail
I’ve been running in the standard peluvas for months now and they’ve been great, but I needed something more rugged and with more traction. Not only does these fit the bill, they are so much more comfortable on the trails, especially down hill. I usually put 5-10 miles at a time and these feel great the whole way. Also, the built in lock laces are a big bonus!

The Men's Strand ATR are excellent on my feet and I love the look of them. Hopefully they make black soles optional of all the different color shoes. But that's just a me thing I love black soles.

This is my third pair. After getting these shoes,wearing normal shoes doesn't even feel right anymore. From physical activity to casual wear, this is it for me. Now Peluva just needs to broaden their color palate. Some dark blue some red on the mens collection. 🙂

You can get a new size super easy but use the tools I went to big i usually wear boots 12.5 eee so I went 13 thinking I could need the space but even a wide foot fits in a 12 maybe I could of get the 12.5 but I think the 12 will break in perfectly

What can I say but now I only own Peluvas, gladly offloaded my altras and no looking back whatsoever! These shoes are outstanding. I love the white minimalistic ones. Excited to see the new versions with the new branding. Glad I went up a size on these like I did on my mesh version typically wear 11.5 in altras 12.5 feel amazing. Fan for life and excited to see more natural soles and fabrics used please get away from polyester!

True to size with socks at 1 full size larger than your Pelican size. If you’re planning on wearing them barefoot, might want to only go half size bigger.

Like the concept and everything for helping the little piggys. Worn wide toe box shoes. First time having these and will be using them on my upcoming half marathon run (trail run). Pretty stoked. The suggested sizing was small but the process for exchanging them is fast though. No complaints. Can't wait to try them on the run!

I'm a Peluva CONVERT! I've been working on my foot health and balance as one main focus of my health in 2025. I have Morton's neuromas on both feet. At the beginning of '25, my feet were flat, bunions were re-emerging after surgery to have them removed from both feet in 2006, and my right toes would get a tingling sensation of painful pins and needles after walking just one mile. I started watching Courtney Conley talk about earth shoes and barefoot shoes. I now own several Xero earth shoes, Vivo Barefoot shoes, vibram five fingers and now Peluvas. Each shoe has served it's purpose in allowing my feet to splay, move and expand with each step. But omg... Peluva is winning for me among these brands! I now own 3 pairs of Peluvas - - the lightweight strand trainer, the mesh sports trainer and the strand ATR Peluvas. I can walk for MILES and MILES and Miles (and do so daily) in these shoes without *any* foot pain! I feel like Peluvas have given me back my ability to walk! - I am almost making myself cry thinking about how much better my life is now that I'm able to not only walk 5-7 miles a day, but I can do it with a weighted vest! I will add that I still need a thin metatarsal insert to help support my Morton's neuromas but this is an issue unique to me. It did require a break-in period for me, but I feel my foot issues are quite extensive, so everyone's mileage my vary here.

I have been wearing shoes like this since 2008. I've seen and tried many different companies that have come and gone with these designs. These shoes have an amazing design and feel more well-made than most others I have had in the past 17 years.
