I did a quick break in upon arrival and then did a sunrise event at Burgess Falls here in TN. I zipped up and down the climb to the waterfall like a champ and ABSOLUTELY LOVED being able to feel the ground but not be impacted by it if that makes sense. Plenty of padding that I didn't feel like every pebble might leave me bruised but not so much that I couldn't feel the pebbles and adjust my steps. I told my husband how much more stable I felt. I received a few compliments and bragged about the brand (this is my third pair in total).

I wear size 10.5. Got the 11s. Perfect. I work from home and like to wear shoes in the house. I wear these 90% of most days. Felt great from the first moment I put them on. Love these shoes. Next. A pair for outside the house. Gray might be a nice addition. Need to consider making a warmer lined version for fall, mild winter walks.

I had an accident and broke all the bones in my foot a few years ago. Still active in my mid 60's, A daily regimen of compression socks and steel toe boots have left my toes pretty mashed together and working together instead of independent. The first couple of days wearing these it was weird, and my toes didn't want to go in the right hole. Day three, slipped my feet right in and went on my first walk wearing these, mile and a half without socks. I just knew my feet were going to need icing when I got home. I could feel things in my feet working, my big toe and small toe were gripping and moving for more support. I was balancing on curbs with more foot control. It really is like walking barefoot without the pain of stepping on stuff. So far so good.

I like the toe slots to keep my toes straight, my baby to seems to go under the one next to it with tailor bunions. I like the idea of my feet getting stronger.

It’s a different feeling having your toes spread, but it feels great! My only concern would be longevity, as I hike a lot, and think a protective layer around the toe box might be a nice addition, but I am speculating they may exceed my expectations as they have otherwise. Definitely recommend. I did order a half size up as well and think the automated suggested size might have been too small.

Just got my black mesh Peluvas, that's my third pair of Peluvas. Hiking, slip ons and now the mesh. Love them all!, Don't want to be greedy like Imelda Marcos and have 200 pairs of shoes- I have other barefoot shoes, but the Peluvas are truly my fav! When you make women's slip ons in forest green, that will be my next (greedy) purchase!

Feet cramps no more!
My feet, along with my toes, use to cramp on me everyday. Especially at night as soon as I took off my shoes or elevated my feet. For years I tried different remedies to prevent the excruciating cramping that occurred. I tried different ratios of electrolytes, insoles for my shoes, topical creams but nothing every worked. I assumed the cramping was somehow related to my autoimmune disease. However, within a week of wearing my Peluva's I have not had a single instance of foot cramping! Utterly amazing!! It has now been over a month and I have not experienced one day of foot cramping. I am extremely active and very fit, so you can imagine how much of a struggle feet cramping can be on your psyche. I cannot believe how awesome these shoes feel. I never knew how much your toes need to move when walking. They spread out and grip the ground, I feel so much more stable and balanced!

It’s a process
I think I have ordered four different shipments of shoes now. And perhaps I finally figured out which ones are right for me. Special appreciation to the company for the exchange process! My favorite are the slip on shoes for around the house. They don’t have much structure on them, but that makes him really great for hanging around. Also, I don’t wear socks with them so I took a pair that is a half size bigger than my normal. But the other shoes I had to send back twice and I need a full size bigger than my normal shoe size. I have noticed that by wearing the shoes that when I put my sneakers on to play tennis, my toes are more in position in the shoes and I’m able to engage them better. I wish Pelova would make tennis shoes.
