My Strand ATR are great.
I really like them. I had no trouble adjusting to them and very little trouble getting them on, though I sometimes need to use a shoehorn to keep from rolling in the heel back. My right big toe has started turning in towards the other toes so I have little more challenge getting it on. My hope is that my Peluvas will help keep it from moving as much and keep it from rubbing against my other toe. 😊
It’s wonderful to hear that you’re enjoying your Strand ATR shoes! It’s great that they’ve been easy to adjust to and are helping support your feet. Using a shoehorn is a smart solution, and hopefully, the shoes will provide the alignment benefits you’re hoping for with your big toe. Thank you for sharing your experience and for choosing Peluva! 😊

Best walking shoes
I love these shoes! I initially ordered a half size up, but they were too big. I contacted the company, and they quickly sent me the form to get them replaced. I ordered a size 8, and they fit perfectly. Normally, I have to wear my Good Feet orthopedic inserts, but since I work out barefoot, I really wanted to try these. They felt a little strange at first, but after the second time using them on the treadmill (because it’s winter), I could really feel how my feet were working the way they’re supposed to when walking.
Thank you, Renee! We’re thrilled to hear that the Women’s Strand ATR is working so well for you. It’s great to know the replacement process was smooth and the size 8 fits perfectly. Enjoy your walks and treadmill sessions—your feet deserve to feel their best! 😊

I love them!
The bottom feels sturdy and they're comfortable to stand in. The material is soft on top. It looks as advertised. The cloth is thin which lets me readjust my toes without taking them completely off. My toes are decently flexible to do so. I can see other people having a time until their toes adjust. After the first week, I could tell the difference when I wore my regular shoes again. I don't wear them often anymore. These are my regular wear now. They're a conversation piece that lets me educate people on foot health and sharing the website.
Thank you, Kendra! We’re so glad you’re loving the Women’s Strand ATR and that they’re making such a difference for your daily comfort and foot health. It’s amazing to hear they’re now your go-to pair and even sparking great conversations about foot health! 😊👟

Very cool and surprisingly comfortable.
I bought these in hopes of dealing with foot pain relating to my feet spreading as I age. I have very small feet and very short toes and have had tremendous trouble spending lots of money on shoes that were continually hurting my feet. I have only worn them for about a week now, but I am very impressed so far. I do wish they made socks for people with smaller feet and smaller toes. So far I prefer to wear them without the socks. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who has had the same issue, also I feel like my balance is improved, especially going down the stairs since I do that mostly on my toes.
Thank you for your thoughtful review, Samantha! We’re thrilled to hear the Women’s Strand ATR is helping with your foot pain and improving your balance. It’s wonderful to know they’re meeting your needs so far! Your feedback about socks for smaller feet and toes is very helpful, and we’ll share it with our team for consideration. Going barefoot in them is a great option as well. We’re so glad they’re making a difference for you—thank you for recommending them! 😊

Enjoying my shoes
I really like my new toe shoes. I have worn another brand for many years having seven pair of them.. I was very excited to see this company. I do prefer wearing socks with this brand though. I did not realize you can get a free pair of socks with your purchase so I missed out on that deal. Make sure you get your socks!
After getting them and discovering a stitching error, they sent me a new pair out quick. So glad I listened to others and sized up a half size. My regular 10 would have been too small. They fit perfectly. There is more cushion than I am used to, but I will be using these in the mornings for 3-5 mile dog walks on concrete. My regular vivobarefoot don’t have enough cushion and my feet start to hurt. My altras have too much. This is the perfect balance if you’ll be walking a lot on very hard surfaces.
I ran distance on five fingers for years, but age and an accident meant that I needed a bit more protection from the pavement. After a few half marathons on conventional shoes that led to very sore quads, I got my Peluvas, and wow! I'm back to pain free running! They do the job and I love the color too!
I’m really liking my new shoes. Already I feel like I have a better stance thanks to the spread out toes. And I forgot to get my free pair of no show socks but the company heard me and went out of their way to send me a pair. Highly recommend the shoe, the socks, and the company.
I’m so glad that Peluva came out with a running shoe with a slightly thicker bottom to last a bit longer than the Strands. I also love that these shoes are in a light shade of purple!
It took a bit to adjust to these shoes, as well as building a strong aerobic base, but these are my sole shoes of choice & I am running 70+miles each week now [started at about 10 weekly miles over 2 years ago]. They are the comfiest shoes to wear & I don’t get any foot pain or blisters in these shoes, which I would experience constantly in other barefoot-like / zero-drop running shoes.
This is my 4th pair of Peluva’s & I will continue to wear these on all of my morning runs.
Thank you!! :)
Very happy with the Strand ATR. They run a little bigger than the Strand but I like it. I prefer these for my longer walks. I’ve been very happy with both my Strand and Strand ATR. Wil definitely be buying more.
These shoes have been great for my Morton’s neuroma. No burning in my toes when I wear my Peluvas.
Love the new design especially the new lacing design and colors. Just added a couple more pairs to my Peluva collection. I’ve been Peluva customer for a couple years now and been getting compliments every I go even in other countries (my hubby and I travel quite a bit). I’ve been bragging to everyone who asked that these shoes are super comfortable for walking and running and even helping them to the website .
I have constant foot pain due to a bunion and arthritis. I have purchased many expensive sneakers trying to alleviate the pain. I bought this shoe, hoping it might help me feel better when I walk. I LOVE THEM! I have no pain, which boggles my mind. My doctor says it is probably due to the shoe aligning the tarsals and metatarsals.
I am a 71 year old woman with severe bunions on both feet. I have been wearing toe socks and toe separators for the last year. It took me quite a bit of time to get my toes into the right toe boxes the first time, but once I did the shoes were comfortable and I think they will continue to properly splay my toes. I have been wearing the shoes around the house for about a week now. It is getting easier each time I put on my Peluvas. If you buy these shoes don’t give up the first time you try to put them on, it gets easier each time and your feet will be happy. I only wish these shoes were available when I was younger!
I really like the thicker sole. They also seem to have a bit more room in the toes which is nice. I also like the way they tie with the toggle vs. the shoe laces. There seems to be more support as well.
I am a 62 year old women with back, hip, and knee pain since 15 years old. I have several hammer toes. Since receiving these shoes I have walked well over 10,000 steps per day , everyday. My body pain is almost gone. My toes are improving. Thank You
